Nice hats, I got them in a bunch of colors. Evidently, I'm somewhere between S/M and L/XL sizes with my head measuring about 22.5". I'd say that they are true to fit, in that the small is slightly too small and the large is slightly too large. Both fit fine, but large looks a little better and is slightly more comfortable. If you're wondering what the difference is between the types, it's probably the material. They look pretty much pretty much identical but have a very different feeling to them- the higher cotton blend is heavier, fits a tiny bit tighter, but doesn't seem to have as much stretch. When I'm sweating outside, I prefer the higher polyester fabric. When I'm just hiding my bald head, I prefer the higher cotton fabric. The gray and navy have a bit of a shine to them, which I wasn't expecting. The black, dark red, and brown don't. Overall, it's a <$15 hat without a logo and doesn't feel cheap. highly recommend. ... show more
