The 2-1 Infrared Air Flow Styler is a serious must have! I have thick, coarse, curly hair and this thing handled my hair like a complete champ! It heated up in around 30 seconds and has 5 heat settings: 285, 320, 355, 390 and 430. I used it at 390 for my hair. The infrared straightener part glides effortlessly through your hair. Seriously no struggle at all. If you feel that you need a little more tension, just hold the very tip of the styler. Be careful as this thing is hot. The straightening part was able to straighten my hair in one pass and leave it soft and shiny! The airflow part for curls can be turned on and off separately while the infrared part is running. I turned on the air flow and then started curling my hair in smallish sections. You can do bigger sections if you wish. It just creates a looser curl. You just put your hair in like you are going to straighten it and then turn the styler the direction you want your hair to curl. Then just glide it down like you would while straightening it. If you aren’t getting enough curl then try to hold the end for more tension. I did my entire head in about 10 minutes. The styler has some weight to it but not enough to hurt your arm. It feels substantial and like it won’t break. It has a beautiful design to it as well. Beautiful, sleek and functional! The only downside for me was that the buttons don’t “lock” so it would change the temp if I accidentally pressed it while curling my hair. That is not a deal breaker for me and definitely something I can overlook since this thing works phenomenal! Seriously do yourself a favor and buy this styler! You won’t regret it! I highly recommend it!

I've used other curling irons in the past and the curls either don't hold or end up not being curly at all. This is the first one I tried and like immediately. I like that it comes with both curling/ straightening options and includes a glove to help prevent burns (that's always my biggest fear). Even at the lowest heat setting, the heat was sufficient enough to give my hair a nice curl. For the value, this curler and straightening tool is definitely worth it!

This 2 in 1 curler and straightener has been great as I've had to use 2 separate tools now in order to curl or straighten my hair. This is well made and I have had to get used to the curling portion of it compared to the straightening part. I love how it comes with a glove because it was definitely needed when I was trying to curl my hair because it did get hot when I had it set at the highest setting.

This Loretta flat iron hair straightener is solidly made. It heated up instantly (enough that my hair smoked a little (not steam, as it was dry). The temp control was right where my grip was, so I kept randomly adjusting the heat. There is no 'stand' so it lies flat on the counter, which I don't like. Even after it was unplugged, it still stayed hot to the touch for longer than I want. It has enough weight that after a while it may cause fatigue. Overall, a nice product but not for me.

This worked very well to add waves to fairly straight hair. The heat was more than sufficient, and I like that is has various levels rather than just on or off.
