Purchase for a family member that is legally blind. It has a cat. There were other wet cat food that he had tried with the cat, but the cat would not eat it. The Shiva brand she loved.

My cats need daily medicines, and adding a new flavor every so often does help. They like Sheba in general, but do have favorites, and this one, the Beef version, isn't one. But it helps with variation, when they are too used to the other flavors or are being sensitive to the meds.

I inherited my moms cat and this is the ONLY food she will eat. I have tried so many other things for variety... but this is IT. Like I said in my headline, she loves the food, but often get squirted with cat food juice when trying to open the pack. This really bothers me because for some reason cat food juice grosses me out, so it might but others as much as it does me, but I do wish they would change the packaging. Portion size is perfect for her. She is a smaller kitty so for a larger cat you might consider serving 2 packs now and then, but even if you do that, it is pretty economical. ... show more

Cats love it-can’t get enough. But……bad packaging. Difficult to open, resulting in cut fingers. Often have to use knife to open package, since peel back sucks.
