Two weeks after installing this headboard we found bed bugs crawling out of the back of it. Professional exterminator inspected the bedroom and was confident the source was this headboard. I took the headboard to the dumpster and had the bedroom professionally treated. Lost my money on the headboard plus another $300 to treat the room. I emailed Flash Furniture directly about it but they never responded. So I guess they would rather get bad reviews instead of dealing with me one-on-one. I saw the reviews about bedbugs after ordering, I was freaking out. Upon arrival, I took the headboard to the backyard and inspected it for any sign of bedbug or bedbug eggs. None were found. I even went as far as cutting the back bit open to check the inside crevices for eggs (bedbugs usually lay eggs in tight corners) and I saw none there either. I also saw another review about bugs being in the tufted buttons, I checked a few of those and still no sign. This item is made of new material and mine had a shipment date from China on the back panel, dated 06/20/2019. Delivered and set up on 09/23/19. Update: it is now 10/04/19. Still no sign of bedbugs. I’ve been inspecting the frame, my bed and mattress every night and morning as well as my back and arms (usually where bedbugs would bite) and I haven’t found anything. I will post another update within a month. 10/31/2019 - No bedbugs 11/08/2019 - still no bedbugs At this point the bedbugs were an issue before that person bought this headboard and they nested there because that’s what bedbugs do. 08/12/2020 - still no bedbugs. ... show more

I was so afraid to open the box in January 2019 that we kept it downstairs unopened for 2 months. I saw the reviews after purchasing for bed bugs so I totally freaked. I can bet you those reviews came from competition because it’s the cheapest line of headboards on amazon. Especially considering they bought a twin on one of them. No bed bugs, I inspected! If one headboard would have truly had bedbugs they would have all had bed bugs. Amazing quality for the price and goes perfectly with our style. Love it! ... show more

These are beautiful and excellent quality. We purchased a twin and a full. I had to call customer service however because we could not find the support legs for the full headboard. It turns out they are inside the back of the headboard in the bottom part of the fabric velcroed in. So I learned something new and felt this was crucial information to share when you are frantically searching the box for the supporting frame. ... show more

The headboard looks very nice, and seems pretty sturdy, and honestly at this point I would give it a 4/5 star review, however when I received the product part of the back was busted off. Probably not a huge deal honestly, the product is still usable, however I decided to call to tell the company about it and when I called I was put on a brief hold, someone picked up, and then hung up immediately. Weird. So I called back and instead of picking up, the message said they were now closed. That wasn’t very cool. So then I left a message asking for a call back and after three days I have recieved nary a call or email. Work on your customer service guys. Cause honestly I love the product, but now I’m salty because you guys won’t talk to me. ... show more

Soo I never read the comments till recently. Got my headboard it was great! I started finding bumps on my skin each day and started itching more and more checked my mattress with my mom and did t see any bugs. The headboard had a screw that wouldn’t go in so I came to order a new one and read the reviews, checked my headboard a few seconds after and bed bugs!!! Nesting in between the buttons!! All around.
