We ordered a King headboard in ‘Dark Green’ Boucle fabric. Our honest opinion is that the sales picture shown of that color on the site shows a green that most buyers would likely consider a rich Hunter Green. In actuality, the color of the headboard that we received is even darker than the one depicted, it’s more of a dark balsam green. It’s definitely darker in hue than a typical hunter green, in fact it almost (but not quite,) looks black as the sun sets through our bedroom windows. We actually really like it, because buying something sight unseen is risky. Overall we’re just really glad it wasn’t a horrible shade of green. Surprisingly the boucle fabric isn’t rough, it’s fairly soft to the touch and less ‘pill’ looking than other boucle fabrics we have in our home. That said, this type of fabric is notorious for collecting or attracting pet hair and also lint over time, so we’ll keep a lint roller in the nightstand to use if we need to. The assembly was easy, no missing hardware. We own a King SleepNumber bed and we didn’t need to do anything but gently lean the assembled headboard against our wall at the teeny tiniest angle. It’s heavy enough that it leans in such a manner that it basically stands upright without wobbling…that’s how our older upholstered headboard rested as well, neither we’re attached to the SleepNumber base itself. (It does have additional screws meant for frame assembly for those buyers with regular bed frames.) Lastly, this King headboard was identical in width to the size of the regular King headboard that we were replacing for our Sleep Number, so the fit was absolutely spot-on perfect. Overall this was a solid purchase, it’s so hard to find green upholstered headboards at a reasonable price and this one was really affordable, would certainly recommend. ... show more

Wonderful headboard. Easy to put together. It's heavy/sturdy and looks very nice. The color is just as it looked in the pictures. Highly recommend for a basic headboard. Oh, I have an electric adjustable bed and the frame of the bed holds the headboard snuggly against the wall so the head can be lifted and lowered and the headboard remains snug...but the headboard does not actually attach to the frame it just holds it snug on the wall. ... show more
