If you're old enough you will remember when the label "Made In Japan" was a mark of a cheaply made product. Eventually the Japanese manufacturers discovered that the American market demanded quality, not something that would break or malfunction in a few weeks. Their development, manufacture, and delivery of high quality automobiles revolutionized the auto industry. Being "Made in Japan" is now a sign of quality. Now China is going through the same growing pains. Their initial products were based more on low price than enduring quality. People became fed up with inferior products produced in China and refused to buy them. Product developers realized that taking the low bid on manufacturing their products could result in basically cheap "knockoffs" of what they wanted presented to the market. Finally they smartened up and demanded that their products be produced with good materials and qualified labor. I'm happy to say that the Kids Colorful Folding Table and Chair set is a perfect example of China recognizing what Western consumers want. This table and chair set not only is built of quality materials and well assembled, but the colors and size of the items make them perfect for children to gather around a table. I can remember 60 years ago when going to Grandma's house for holiday dinners that us kids could not sit at the adult's table. Instead we had an old card table with four rickety chairs that didn't allow us to eat without having unintended accidents. If only we had a table and chair set like this one back then. I greatly appreciate the fact that this set came with "no assembly required". It was well packed and protected and came in a space efficient box, evidently surviving a long trip from China. I'm leaving this review a few years after we purchased it. It's held up really well. We've even left a few of the chairs outside in the rain a few times and haven't had any rusting. My kids have been rough with it - it's not just a craft table, it's been a fort ceiling, and turned upside down, a car and boat, all kinds of things. It's durable. The surface cleans fairly easily—though paint can be tough to remove. The chairs can be a bit tricky to pinch open and closed. If you have "open the pickle jar strength" than you can probably handle it, though. It folds up small for easy storage. We keep ours between our washer and dryer when not using. Colors are still vibrant (even after getting sunsoaked a few times). Overall, a solid, kid-proof table and chair set. ... show more

This children’s table and chairs set was received in perfect condition due to good packaging. The chairs snap in tight, almost too tight as we had to manipulate two of the chairs’ lock features but that wasn’t difficult. The height of the table and chairs are perfect for my 4 yr old whose about 43 inches. It seems sturdy and can hold her weight well (she’s about 47 pounds). The dimensions of the table gives her ample room to work on her book and plenty more to spread out all her extra accessories. The chair has a thin padding on it but comfortable enough to sit on for awhile. It easily folds so it can be put away with no problem. Knocking off a star because one of the chair has a tear and the other has some kind of sticky, white residue/stain on it. I already broke down the box and my daughter was too excited to use it so I can’t exchange for another one. ... show more

We really think the table and chairs are great. We babysit 4 granddaughters a lot and use the table twice a day for breakfast and lunch. It also serves as a coloring table and craft table for them. It’s fairly easy to fold up after a little practice.

It was easy to set up, just unfold each one, the height was perfect for the kids and they loved all the different colors. The table top and seats on chairs are easy to keep clean. About 2 weeks in to using it, my granddaughter lend on the table and the legs bent inward. Trying to bend it back only made it worse, so although it is still standing, it's wobbly and leaning. The chairs are great, and will last longer than the table. It was an ok fix for the summer for the kids in small apartment Certainly not worth what I paid for it because of the table. ... show more
