Cam locks didn't work well due to poor product quality/tolerancing. I've built lots of IKEA furniture that use the same type of hardware and never had any issues. A few of the cam locks failed completely so I've had to buy some trapezoid brackets to reinforce the corners. Wood was also extremely soft in places, so a couple of the screws stripped with barely any torque applied. Would have sent it back if it wasn't a gift, so decided to fix the problem instead.

This was hard to put together based on the screws given. I got the desk together but the chair wouldn’t screw in. I was upset because the reason I bought this one was because a chair came with it. I didn’t return because it was Christmas Eve while I was putting together so I just set up the desk
