1st the smell of the Sea mint and Spruce is amazing. Crackle of the wood is charming. I don't know that the candle would burn for 90 hours though. I'd guess closer to 70-75 hrs. I've lit this a fair amount of times but now it's 2/3rds done and the wick is buried in the wax. I followed all protocol by 4hr burn initially and burning for a couple hours at a time following. I really wanted the wax to burn eventually because the jar is amazing, and if I did a good job there would be little wax clean up. By far this is the most expensive candle I've purchased but after doing research this company has chosen to produce a healthy alternative to the toxic ones typically sold. I'm definitely apprehensive to purchase again at $35. I had added it to my subscribe and save because I was enamored with this product and it would save me some money. Update: the company reached out to me regarding the candle not fully burning and sent me another candle. To be honest I had already bought a replacement through La Jolie because they're products are clean and smell amazing, especially the Sea Mint and Spruce. Yes, it's expensive but it's the nicest candle that I've ever owned. I had replaced it with the Marine. Which smells amazing but for my sensitive nose it can only be used in large spaces because it is a very rich smell. In my opinion if your wavering I'd purchase. They smell amazing. The container serves many purposes afterwards with much more style than a boring glass container. I'm on my 4th candle. They are my splurge, but I'm able to burn them in my environment without worrying about cheap products making my air toxic.

These candles are AMAZING! I love candles and am always trying out different brands both from online and in stores. I very often am disappointed with candles that either smell like a fake scent, too over powering or barely have a scent. I figured if these candles were disappointing at least I’d have the beautiful jars. To be honest the jars were really the main reason I bought them. BUT, I was very pleasantly surprised. They smell awesome!! I bought both the Sea Mint & Spruce as well as the Marine Breeze. The only issue I had was deciding which candle to try first. They both smell beautiful and with the beautiful jars, I am in love with them. I decided on burning the Sea Mint first and it has a very pleasant scent that is just enough to smell in the room but not over power the room. The candles were packaged very secure so they were safe for transport. I am so excited that I finally found candles that smell fantastic and look beautiful!! I did two stars on longevity because I just got them today, so I’m not sure how long they will last, but I have a feeling it will be for a while. They were much bigger than I thought they would be, so that was a bonus. Once the candles are gone I’ll find a use for the jars since they look so nice.

This is the second candle that I have purchased from this company. The first one was great, but the second candle, sea meant and spruce, had absolutely no scent at all. The candle itself is beautiful, but even when I would stick my nose right up to the burning candle, it smelled of no particular sent. I then spent time writing a detailed email to the company, and they said they would respond within 24 hours on their website, but I have never heard anything. I am very disappointed, because these are absolutely beautiful candles. I am sending it back to Amazon, hoping I won’t break, and also hoping, that I get a full refund. *UPDATE: 4-25-21 The company reached out to me and sent me a replacement candle. The company turned out to be very kind and attentive. I recently received the “Dark Berries” and it smells amazing and has a much stronger scent. These candles are solid.....and so elegant......I am now a loyal customer!!!! Highly recommend this product!!!!

The packaging, the glass, and the scent are all quality. As a Senior in a Business BA program, I ask you to consider these things: It would be nice if the wood wick was centered with less variance. - or be made into a cross section which may burn more evenly - or make the candle size smaller You could add a holder to a smaller candle, without changing glass size, and then sell the candles independently of the glass for $6-8 less. Doing this would allow you to increase profit margins while gaining the ability to make 'New! Even-burn candle wick' and sustainability claims, which help to justify the higher quality and price tag. ORIGINAL REVIEW: The glass jar is GORGEOUS & looks beautiful in my living room. However, for the cost of this candle, I was disappointed because the scent is very faint & the wood wick is not centered (my husband immediately commented on the wick placement when he saw the candle). Aesthetics aside, I’m concerned that the off-centered wick will affect the overall longevity of this candle. I would not have purchased this candle if I saw/smelled it in person first. *UPDATE* This seller, Melrose Home Decor, just proved customer service still exists! Within 24 hours of posting my two-star review, a representative from the company named Cyan, messaged me & offered to send a free replacement! As soon as I said I would appreciate a replacement of the same candle (Sea Mint & Spruce), Cyan messaged me & said a new one was being shipped out & should arrive within a couple of days. I’m pleased to report I just received my replacement candle & it is MUCH better than the first- the wick is centered & I could smell the candle before I even got it completely unwrapped! I’m very pleased with this candle AND the company’s desire to make things right! I will be purchasing from this company again & will do so with confidence! Thank you, Melrose Home Decor & Cyan!
