I bought this to store board games and puzzles and there is enough room for DVDs still. I’m very happy with the minimalist style. I (a 32 year old female with no handyman experience) was able to put it together by myself. Doors like these are always tricky to get them to hang just right and evenly but I used my husbands impact drill and that was much easier than hand screwing every little screw. The directions were very easy to follow and it came with two wall tethers and plenty of spare parts. It wasn’t terribly heavy to move into place and the wood veneer is very convincing. I usually don't give bad reviews, but I was so disappointed in this piece. It's almost as if I was sent a used sideboard that someone took apart. Every piece was damaged. The hinges were bent, the doors were bent, there were scratches from inside out. The holes for the screws were damaged to the point where the screws wouldn't tighten. The instructions were written on and the bag of screws had handwritten markings. The whole thing was bizarre. I'm returning and hoping a new one is sent because I do still think this piece would be pretty and perfect for my room. ... show more

This piece of furniture is really beautiful. Opening the box the pieces were very well organized and easily identifiable. My 19 and 20 year old daughters were able to assemble it themselves and found the instructions easy to understand though they did take a bit to align the doors. We all found the piece to be more sturdy than expected and the color a rich brown. The pilot holes were too small. The backing board was too small. This was a nightmare. Problems at every step. Totally regret this purchase. Buy a different credenza! You don't want this headache! Completely Beautiful and so easy to assemble. It took us about 2 hours total. Was a really heavy box so had to bring in into my house piece by piece. Directions were very clear and easy to understand. Have only had up a couple of days and many compliments. Wonderful hinges on the doors can be adjusted every way to be sure doors close correctly and are aligned perfectly. The unit will serve its purpose, and it looks really nice.
