The grey color matches our deck and existing furniture well. The material is unblemished and hopefully won't fade. It was easy for me to assemble myself and the seat feels solid once put together. All hardware accounted for and the instructions are clear. I tightened everything with a driver. The cup holder appears to be mounted on a post and can't be tightened so it feels a bit floppy, but it holds a full 40 oz. Stanley Quencher without fear of it spilling or falling out. We are all between 5'4" and 6' and all find it comfortable. Very happy with this chair and will likely purchase another! ... show more

Took a little time to put together but one we learned what goes where the second one was a snap! great solid little chairs and perfect for our patio! We love them! Seem like they are going to last a few years too. These are sturdy pieces of furniture!

The good: The chair itself is great. It's a solid piece of patio furniture that should last a long time. It's comfortable to sit in and I like that it also rocks. The fold out cupholder is a nice and convenient addition. The not so good: The installation instructions are small and not well illustrated. I found them a bit confusing. Also the kit comes with installation tools. The small fixed crescent wrench and the hex wrench are functional, the screwdriver is worthless. It took me about an hour to assemble the chair including reviewing the instructions beforehand. Here are some tips: 1) Make sure you have your own #2 phillips screwdriver for the 4 phillips head screws. 2) I suggest laying out the parts on the ground while looking at the instructions to give you a better sense of where everything goes and how to correctly orientate each piece. 3) Assemble the chair loosely at first so that you have some movement with the legs. It will help you to better align the base rockers (parts H & I) with the predrilled holes for the hex bolts. This will save you from having to go and loosen all the bolts as I did in order to get the rocker rails to align with the holes. After those base rocker rails are fully tightened (including the 4 phillips screws) then go back and finish tightening all the other bolts. 3) Use a small metal tube or a long socket with an extension (which I used) for greater leverage with the hex wrench to finish torquing in the hex bolts on the rocker legs. I have plenty of tools and experience in assembling a variety of things so this wasn't an issue for me, but I can see how some people could get things wrong and have to remove and redo some parts. Other that these issues I think its a great chair and I'm very happy with it so I'm discounting the assembly and giving the finished product 5 stars. ... show more

This Adirondack chair is BEAUTIFUL and it was easy to assemble. I only ordered one for my back porch, which faces a lake, because there's already a lot of other seating back there, but now my kids fight over who gets to sit in this awesome "rocking" chair. It also has a brilliant "fold away" cup holder, which is so smart of an addition, and convenient. The instructions to assemble were easy to read, and while it provides an Allen wrench and screwdriver, a drill with appropriate bits made it much easier and faster. The material is very heavy for it being plastic, but it is nice in appearance and design - it is also sturdy but still very comfortable. The color looks fantastic and it will be much easier to clean than a wood chair of similar style and last much longer on the lake porch than wood (plus, no splinters). I like this Adirondack rocking chair because it is made of a heavy-duty, trex-like material that is solid, durable and water/weatherproof. I like that one person (me) was able to haul it in and assemble in under an hour (I was in no rush, and suspect two people could do it in 20-30 minutes). I also like the chair because of its grey color -- which fits in with our other outdoor furniture -- and because it is heavy enough to not have to store away during strong winds or storms. Like most Adirondack-style furniture, it requires a "back up and slide down" to sit and the reverse to exit the chair, which is slightly more difficult due to this chair's rocking feature, so you might want to keep that in mind for older folks. Overall this is a great chair -- though I am now in the market for some cushions to make it even more enjoyable. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I couldn’t be happier with this rocking chair! The color is vibrant and just as pictured. The chair feels very durable and sturdy. Polyresin chairs can sometimes feel a bit scratchy to the skin at first, but this chair was comfortable to sit in from the beginning. The cup holder is a nice bonus and pivots in and out smoothly. It took about thirty minutes to assemble this chair (my husband was chatting with a friend, so I’m sure it could be done faster). The instructions were easy to understand and thorough. The chair has enough weight to it that I’m not worried about it being easily damaged during stormy/windy weather. I’ve enjoyed rocking in this chair and am looking forward to relaxing in it for years to come. ... show more
