These seats are the most comfortable ones of any that I have used. As I read in other reviews, the back of the chair does sit at a definite and VERY fixed 90 degree angle, no 'give'. This may be a 'curve' to work though as it is for me. The purely upright and rigid back seems to concentrate all of the body weight into the cushion and standing periodically is something I must do as that becomes a little intense. I have to say though that I have had to stand periodically with every stadium seat I have used. I DO like the thicker padding and am satisfied that it is fabric rather than plastic/vinyl. These are exactly what other purchasers said they are: easy to open and close; thick, comfortable cushions; nice secure arm underneath to attach to a bleacher. I also bought the black canvas bags to carry them in that were a featured item alongside in the lower description. I am looking forward to being comfortable at my grandchildren's sporting events now.
