Bought this for a 1 year old that is obsessed with Dad's recliner. He took to it instantly. It was easy to put together and looks fantastic in our living room. My son even likes the cup holder. The only thing I would improve would be to have a cup holder on each side ypu know for snacks and a drink. The reclining function is way beyond his cognitive level but maybe one day he will figure that out. He enjoys having his own space and now he has stopped trying to climb dad's recliner which was much more dangerous. Would buy again. Love our recliner so far

Love our recliner so far. My daughter loves to climb in it and pretend to sleep or just sit and listen to bedtime stories. She appears super comfortable in it. Super easy to put together. At first when I saw it came in pieces I was thinking it wouldn't get done for days. As soon as I unwrapped everything it was super simple. Back piece snapped into place and feet screwed on. Love the pull/push recline mechanism. Easy enough for my daughter to do herself. Well made! Looks like it will last! ... show more

I am shocked by the quality of this item. I was super skeptical that it would be cheaply made but boy was I wrong. This is a high quality piece of furniture. Sturdy and well made. Fabric is high quality and the customer service is great. I had to call the company to find out where my chair was because it was late(2 days). Their customer service said that the delivery company was a week behind and that it was probably still sitting on the truck waiting to be shipped. Sure enough about a week later this beautiful thing arrive on my doorstep. The wait was well worth it! ... show more

Really like this chair. It is our second and if we have more grandchildren too close together we may have to buy more. It is nicely put together, with brilliant color, requiring little assembly. We would have ranked a five star product, however; the back is very, I mean very, difficult to lay back for an adult, let alone a child. We originally had ordered another very similar chair, when the company contacted us to let us know the shipment was delayed due to stock. They then went out of their way to find us a replacement that was comparable or higher in value- we settled on this chair. Very happy with it! They are much larger than we expected, we have a 3yo and 6yo and both fit comfortably with room to grow. They were very easy to put together as well. Way too small, difficult to recline

We got this chair for our 6 year old son. Admittedly, he is a big boy, 4 ft tall, 67 pounds, so we knew we had to get him something plush and comfortable. I had seen in a review that someone said their child may outgrow the chair by the time they're 9 or 10, so we thought our son would be ok. We got the chair, and first of all, I have to say that it was very simple to put together, just slight the upper back portion onto the lower seat and it snaps into place, all done in about 15 seconds. Also, our little boy loved the idea of the cup holder, which was a requirement for me. But that's where the magic ended. The chair looks really cool, but even our oversized son had lots of difficulty getting it to recline. Also, his head was completely above the top of the chair. I thought I could help this with a pillow, but my wife said "no, the chair is too small", so our baby bear was once again without chair just as quickly as it had arrived. Word of advice, if your child is more than about 36" tall, don't buy this chair. Also, unless you plan on helping your child recline each time they want to put their feet up, don't get the chair. It's surprisingly lightweight, so moving it around is no problem, but the catch 22 is that being such a short back chair, a child small enough to fit in it simply can't comfortably get enough leverage to easily push it back until maybe they've had some time to practice and develop tricep and upper torso strength. It even took our son at least 6 or 7 tries, struggling, imposing his tiny will upon the stubborn blue beast before it submitted. I hated to return it b/c it looks so cool, for him to have a recliner to kick back in front of the tv and watch a movie, but we need something he can actually use, so the chair is on its way back, and our search continues. ... show more

Love This Chair

My mom gave me the money to grab this chair for my sons 1st birthday. He absolutely loves it. He's learned how to climb up and off the chair safely and he sits in it all the time. It's a good quality and was very easy to put together. As a recliner it's too hard for him to sit back in just yet, so I lift the bottom up to recline him, which is much easier to do than push back on the chair. ... show more
