I was really excited to receive these bar stools as I had waited quite a while to purchase some. First let me say, they are beautiful, and I was pleased with the color and appearance. I noticed one of them was dented apon arrival but truthfully, did not want the hassle of trying to send back such a bulky item. My other negative is that I've only had them a month and the paint is already coming off in places, and you can see the black underneath. The paint job must be very cheap. These are not treated roughly, but I do have older kids who set their backpacks etc on them. (They are at our snack bar.) I was very disappointed by this as I felt they should definitely hold up far better than this after only a month. They scratch very easily. If they already have imperfections this early, I can't imagine I will have them much past a year. I wouldn't buy these again. ... show more

I got this stool at a discounted price because of “damaged packaging”. I was a little upset to find a flaw on the actual stool as damaged packaging doesn’t translate to damaged product in my opinion. However this stool is pretty decent. I love the color and it feels sturdy enough. My five year old uses the bottom supports to get on it so I’ll be interested to see how they hold up. Overall it’s a good item. I would never pay $48 for it if I found it in a store (it’s heavy though so I get the cost because shipping it can’t be cheap). Update: I ordered another stool and had to bump my rating up from four stars to five. We use the one daily and despite the flaws (which I truly don’t notice) it is a very solid stool. ... show more

I love the mustard-yellow color of the stools. It's bright and cheery! The gloss on them makes them almost like plastic. I b chinggqought the 24" stools and they arrived in perfect condition. They are level and do not wobble. They feel sturdy. There is an oval hole in the seat that makes it easy to move the stools. They have a rubber base on the legs so they make no noise when moved. I am already noticing some wear on the paint on one of the stools but, I guess that is to be expected. It could be from the pocket embellishments on someone's pants. That is not a deal-breaker for me. I like the look, they fit nicely under my bar and they seem well-constructed. ... show more

I like the look of these stools, but they arrived damaged - and not just a little damaged. One leg was mangled, multiple stools had large dents on the top. The paint was chipped and fractured in multiple places and there were large scuff marks present. It would take quite a lot of force to mangle these stools so much, they are steel after all. Strangely the box they arrived in was in perfect shape. Now I have to deal with the hassle of returning such a large heavy box. Really disappointed - would not recommend. ... show more

Perfect for my "island" in the kitchen. Don't mind the footies, I didn't take them off yet before taking the picture. Surprisingly comfortable metal stool. Great quality, the mint is beautiful, and arrived already together. You can't be that or the price :)

We ordered two sets of these 24" black metal stack-able stools (4 in each set for a total of 8 stools) in the same order by selecting quantity 2. Both sets of the stools were received on the same day in separate boxes but upon opening the boxes, the stools were not identical in color/paint! They are all black but one set is matte finish while the other is glossy (I have added pictures but it is difficult to see). Disappointing as the reason we ordered them at the same time was to get a matching set of 8 stools. Upon closer inspection the the packaging was not quite the same and the Model numbers were the same but the PO was not. All of the stools arrived in perfect new condition but we have mismatched stools for the same table. Also, the description said they would have to be put together and I believe there was an offer to have them put together at an additional charge during the checkout process but nothing was necessary as they are already built, packaged and stacked in the box. Because we didn't want to bother with re-packaging and sending one set back then *hoping* the next set would have a matching paint job or sending both sets back then trying to get two matching sets, we decided to keep them all. They are the perfect height for our pub table and despite the lack of back and cushion, we have found them to be quite comfortable for table top game playing. I purchased 4 24-inch counter stools and 4 30-inch barstools from Flash Furniture, all in Distressed Copper. The 24-inch counter stools are actually more of a Distressed Bronze, not Distressed Copper and do not match the Distressed Copper barstools I purchased from the Flash Furniture also. The return/replacement policy does not allow you to speak with anyone so I'm quite concerned that the 24-inch counter stools will be replaced with more of the same wrong color. This is upsetting because these are for a backyard renovation unveiling party which is close at hand. I have many other things to do to get ready for the party and did not need this hassle. ... show more

Very stable stools. Love the color. The slot in the top makes them easy to pick up and move. The rubber feet keep them where you put them. The design insures there are no edges anywhere to snag on stuff. They came packed well so there were no nicks or bent places when we unpacked them. We use them inside but our favorite restaurant has these in their outside seating and the weather does not seem to impact them. Couldn't be more pleased. ... show more
