These candles are quite attractive and give our room a pleasant ambient glow. They’re also long-lasting, with batteries that run non-stop for about 2-3 weeks. The included remote makes it easy to turn them on and off, which is very convenient. It’s also great that they come in different sizes. However, there are a couple of minor issues: The battery compartment is a bit difficult to open. I found using a dull knife helpful. When first opened the box of candles, I thought they look a bit chunky. After inserting batteries, placing in areas, thought they look nice. Creamy colored candles that take only one battery, each. Soft light. Nice ambiance, nice value.

I wanted a candlelight ambience every night in fall and winter but don't want to light a dozen candles just for the two of us. These candles are perfect for my needs. I set them to go automatically on at 5:30 for four hours on the candle mode and they are perfect. When I have guests I add little beeswax tealights because there is nothing like real candlelight, but these come close! Also, I don't like the faux candles that have the wiggly flame, those creep me out. These have a stationary "flame" but the candle mode makes them glow. Pretty! ... show more

The timer does not function correct consistently. It worked great the first time and then hit or miss the rest. Also, the wick makes a noise so if you want something completely silent this may not be for you. I do like the candles and plan on using them all year long. The brightness is a bit much. Needed a little light to my nonworking fireplace. They are beautiful and look great on the candelabra I purchased. Bonus is that the candles only need one AA battery each.

The media could not be loaded. These were everything what I was looking for and more! I love that you can adjust the brightness, whether they flicker (candle mode) or not, and the best part of these is you can set a timer for 2H, 4H, 6H or 8H. And you can point the remote at a specific candle or group of candles to change the settings, turn on/off, or a set timer - so you choose exactly what candles you're controlling. It doesn't apply the settings to all of them automatically, which I really like. The great thing about the timer is whatever you set it on, it automatically turns on and off for that amount of time. For instance, I set mine to 8 hours. Now they automatically turn off after being on for 8 hours AND come back on automatically the next day at the same time you set it (Example: I set all my candles on an 8-hour timer at 4:30PM one day. They stayed on for 8 hours, then shut off. The next day at 4:30PM they all come back on, and stay on for the 8 hours again.) It makes it more convenient in my opinion, and I really love coming home from work with them already on to greet me. :) The remote is super convenient and allows you to turn them off without getting off the couch or out of bed. Always a plus. I've had these for several weeks and not one has died, I think because the timer makes them drain less than other candles like this. Either way, battery life seems to be great. Thinking of buying another set for my bedroom. These were way better quality with more setting options than my other set. ***UPDATE: I've had these for 3 months now and still love them. The batteries seem to last about 2 months (with an 8-HR timer set), and only use one AA battery, so I think their battery life/usage is great! Still going strong with no issues. ... show more

I missed that these do not have the moving wick similar to Luminara candles. Most of the reviews show this moving wick but they must have changed their design without updating the description. These are cheap plastic candles that are cheap in price and build quality. I did not feel comfortable giving these as a gift. I purchased LEDHOLYT Flameless Candle Set is $16 for a 3 pack and the candles are wax with the moving wick, a much better deal. ... show more
