We ordered this for a propane stove, Got the tank flushed and filled. Instantly frosted up the line and the flow was incredibly irrregular and slow. We thought water was in the tank, Flushed it again, filled it up and the same thing. Swapped out the valve, no change. Swapped it with a vertical tank and our problems went away. I’ve installed 10+ horizontal tanks from flame king and I’ve never had a problem with them other than actually finding one post-Covid. (You will more than likely have to slightly bend the brackets back square from shipping but it’s effortless so just do it bc complaining online takes longer than fixing it.) On the other hand, you should complain about the current price of $908.00 (July 25, 2022). That is too much to charge for a LP tank… it’s more than double what I paid for each of the previous 10 tanks I purchased. -Long time customer… on hold for a bit. ... show more

I received the RV propane tank, horizontal mount. Both mounting brackets were bent and damaged. There was also a gouge mark on one of the ends of the tank. I am returning this propane tank.

I bought this before the price went way up. Mine was bent like everyone else. I had a welder cut the tabs off and weld the back on straight (welded to tab not to tank). Always filled and flowed fine for me. It did seem a little bigger than I anticipated but still made it fit. Kinda banged up in shipping but I would buy again. ... show more

Measurements aren’t even close to whats listed, mounting brackets are bent, and return shipping is on you which makes returning it impractical if it doesn't fit or arrives damaged.

This manufacturer needs a packaging engineer. Was packaged in lightweight cardboard with hardly any packaging material. Both flanges were bent upon receipt and had to be beaten in to shape before I could install and even then it was no fun trying to install the bolts as the bent flanges caused misalignment issues. Hard to understand why a manufacturer would put such an expensive and critically important pressure vessel in such inadequate packaging. ... show more
