My only regret with this bag is I didn’t get the bigger one. It’s made exceptionally well and if I had gotten the right size I would not regret it. 20l can fit a 14inch laptop but if you’re wanting to use this to pack a lot of clothes or books forget about it. Get the bigger one.

Great EDC bag, I basically use it as a murse (man purse).I carry a lot of things with me (iPad for school, meds, first aid, wallet etc) so this bag fits the bill for EDC stuff while still looking normal. Plenty of room for electronics and their peripherals. There’s a padded slot for small laptop/tablet, and smaller pocket inside for chargers etc. Little flimsy compared to what I’m used to, but it looks great. My only issue is the bottle holders on the sides aren’t stretchy and the bottle pushes into the bag taking up some room inside of the bag. Other than those minor things. This is a great compact backpack. I'm a petite female, 5'3" and it fits my frame comfortably. I use it for work every day. I fit my 15" mbp in the laptop sleeve and there is still plenty of room in the compartments. I usually pack a lunch and a thermos or bottle in the main compartment and I could still stuff a small sweater in there if I really wanted to. The secondary compartment has it's own zipper and could fit smaller items. It also has some pockets and a zippered mesh pocket that I keep my headphones in so I don't lose them. There's a front zip pocket that's perfect for stashing keys or badges. On either side is a small pocket meant for water bottles but there's no elastic to hold anything in place so I have only ever put a small thermos there. There's a top zip compartment with a soft interior, presumably for sunglasses. The interior has a plastic/nylon feel which is great because it's easy to wipe down. I had a crappy bottle that didn't seal well and spilled cold brew coffee in there but I was able to wipe it all off and it doesn't even smell like coffee miraculously. The exterior is treated to make it more durable and they sell wax that you can use to treat it again when the sealant inevitably wears off in time. It's not meant to be water resistant but it survives a light drizzle without getting damp inside. I wouldn't count on it for that though. The back is smooth, not ribbed, which doesn't allow much air flow but keeps it compact. The shoulder straps are padded and mesh on the inside for some air flow. I've experienced better straps but these are not uncomfortable and this is by far the best backpack I've found for carrying a laptop and other items without adding a ton of bulk. ... show more

i'm looking for a backpack that between sporty & dressy with a "cool" brand. I use it every day (work for weekdays and kids/baby bag on weekend) Need 2 pockets on the front plus main compartment, side pockets, laptop sleeve, light weight. I want a lot, and this delivers. The front pocket is secure enough i can actually leave it open and no one can see. The second zipper pocket compartment is very good with one zipper mesh pocket on the front, and 3 slip pockets, plus extra room from the whole compartment. Then main zipper compartment has front zipper pocket, a back padded laptop sleeve which fits my 15in macbook pro with internal dvd drive very well, snug, but that's why it's good so it wont move around. I wish the laptop compartment has less padding thou.There's also a top zipper pocket (from outside) that "dips" into the main compartment. I love all the compartments this bookbag has. It's the compartments that made me decide to purchase this bookbag. Zippers and fabric seems really sturdy.it holds its shape. It's slim and good size for my frame (5'3"). Easy in and out from side pockets. ok - however.... - I find the shoulder straps a bit too thick for my liking, but it does distribute weight pretty well. - The bookbag doesn't stand on its own. The bottom of the bookbag actually not flat, rather it's goes up to connect to where the front pocket is. If you see the pics, you can actually see the seams connecting "up" at the corners of the front pocket. Therefore, when i lay the bookbag down, it actually tip forward. Annoying at times because it somestimes topple down to public floors. - I got the black book bag, and it ATTRACTS lints, dust, feathers from jackets and sweaters. - The back is padded like the laptop sleeve, but it arches into the main compartment, which makes the laptop pocket arch out and took the space of the main compartment. Usualy the laptop pocket is pretty straight and doesn't interfere with the main compartment much - but this one does. - also i find the laptop sleeves a bit too low to my liking - which might cause the arching out problem i mentioned above.
