I already own the original Kanken which I absolutely love. It fits a lot of stuff in it, including a laptop, however, it offers no padding whatsoever. That is fine for books and binders, but I recently got a new laptop and I wanted to make sure that it was being protected. I am so pleased with this version. Simply not big enough for a laptop and a full course load worth of law books. I recommend the 15" size if you're using it for something like that. Returned 10 days ago and still no word on receipt or refund. Growing impatient.
