I took down the old aluminum awning that was beyond cleaning and had my handyman put this one up. He was a bit dismayed that there were no instructions, but he managed to get it together. Then we realized that this awning was at a greater slant than the old one, which meant we had to install it higher above the door (realizing this AFTER the initial install). To start, there are no instructions. I was able to guess how to assemble from a picture here. Second, they do not supply all the hardware needed! The self taping screws will penetrate one layer of "tile" but not two, which is necessary down the middle. And they do not supply screws for the wall. Incomplete product! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Ordered this a year ago, finally getting around to putting it together. I put it together a year ago then took it a part and completely forgot how to do it again. It’s a nice product, but… absolutely no instructions on how to put this together. Just like everyone else said. I posted a video on how to put it together. Solid weight. Nice metal quality shingles. Easy to install once you figure it out. Seems like it will work well once installed to protect my door from rain. 4 stars for no clear instructions Like I said in the video I would just go slow, put at least two holes in each bar through the shingles with an impact driver so you had some holes ready to go once the awning is mounted, will make your life easier. Self tapping screws provided when through the singles and bars with ease. Really hope this helps 👍🏻 ... show more
