I love these shoes but the sizing is awful. The rubber feels like it just sticks to the smallest pebbles.     • ouch, but worth it
Bought a full size over my street shoe, but the shoes were still tight and require a bit of time to get into so you don't want to be in a rush to jump on your project. It took a number of sessions before the shoes became tolerable to wear for more than a few minutes but it was worth it. If you experience a foot slip it's not the shoe, it's you. The heel stays tight, the toe enables precise footwork, and there is lots of rubber across the toe for excellent toe-hooking. This shoe has become my favorite outdoors and in. I mainly boulder, so for you rope monkeys this would probably be a great shoe for steep to wildly overhanging routes as you can really pull in with the feet. For long routes I'd probably go with either a larger size, (though I'm not sure if the advantages of the shoe would be minimized), or an entirely different shoe (I'm a big fan of the Muira VS). ... show more

Product sold by fiveten. Is what it says. Great deal, great shoe. Got them here for 50$ likely because they are last year's model. What a steal! Aggressive shoe and fits aggressive at street shoe size or for those who like it tighter half size down. For all that people complain about, it was not a hard shoe to get on. Took some wiggling the first time but wore them for a few routes and then had no problem getting them on and off. Very sensitive, have never tried mystique rubber before. Still getting used to it. I wore 5.10 quantums before these shoes. Ended up trying these out because I take shoes on/off regularly and so was looking for more of a slip on than a laced shoe. Bought these shoes (in the same size as the quantums) and they fit great. Rubber is super sticky but thin. They give me a great feel for the wall which is what i'm looking for. I climb 2-3 times a week indoors and these last me for over a year with good care. They're synthetic so they didn't stretch much at all. ... show more

These shoes are perfect honestly if you get the right size and not force the fit witch is hard these come very small I️ wear a 7 1/2 but I️ had to bye 9 1/2 but they are great for crack climbing small edges these are a must for you climbing gear there brand new and just getting better and better every climb ... show more

    • Tight enough for torture
You need to order at least a full size larger than your street shoes. I mistakenly matched my street size and could barely get the shoes on. I shouldn't have tried; I was crippled after two bouldering problems. Unfortunatly, Amazon doesn't stock the size I need.

Absolutely love this shoe. It does fit a little more snug than the previous blue model. I wore a size 9 in the blue and had to upsize to a 9 1/2 with these for them to be tolerable (I wear a 9 street shoe). I have a narrow heel and these are a great fit for me.

Basically, it's a bouldering slipper. Good heal and toe rubber. Hooks nice. Pretty soft sole, I don't really trust them on edges. Fits like old-school Velcro Dragons. However, disappointed that I still can't flash V14. Expected to at least win ABS nats. Also, 0 sponsor offers so far; not even for some crappy/easy sponsor, like Metolius. However, I can now do one-arm pull ups because my wallet is that much lighter! Awesome. ... show more
