Ordered this for our chihuahua and purchased the size that the chart suggested for her measurement. When it came in the mail it was huge on her. I knew that it was 100% cotton so I washed it in hot water hoping it would shrink and boy did it. It shrank a lot but not enough to fit her. It is so long that it covers her rear and she will not go #2 with it on. ... show more

Like other reviews have mentioned, the butt side starts to sorta almost like scoop down below the tail so if you are buying these for walks I wouldn’t recommend them. I bought these for that reason; to keep my doggo warm on these chilly walks but had to take it off because if she went #2 the pajamas? Would’ve acted like a diaper and yea, not really what I bought them for. My dog usually wears a medium (she’s 12 pounds, malchi type of Breed ) and these were kinda snug or the chest area but long enough on the other half to scoop the butt. I only order Fitwarm now for my HAIRLESS PUPS as they fit well, provide protection needed in heat as well as cold. does not imprint on their skin or cause rub marks, chafting or red areas. Need the long arms and legs others don't provide.
