These dumbbells are perfect as a beginner trying to build muscle gradually. The reviews weren’t lying about the smell though lol. It has a very strong chemical rubber odor. Other than that, they’re solid, and I ended up buying an extra pair of lighter DBs.

I saw other people had some problems. Only receiving one instead of two. Or a completely different dumbbell. Once my package was delivered I opened it up and had both dumbbells. They were new. No damage or use on them. And we’re as shown in the pictures. The handle is thicker than your average dumbbell. But has a good feel as it shapes the palm of your hand. Isn’t to big that it’s an issue. Just larger than average. People also say it stinks. But they have never ordered new gym equipment before.
