    • Don't put the top on before mounting!
This thing has been small but mighty and really ties together our living room, however save yourself a lot of trouble and don't put the top on until you've mounted it to the wall. The instructions will tell you to assemble it and then mount it but they lie. It's so much easier to assemble all but the top, mount it on your wall, make any adjustments AND THEN put the top on. We were able to get it assembled and up without too much time or effort. We spent more time finding studs than anything else. I wasn't able to use the pre-drilled holes for mounting but that was not a big deal. It looks great!

Great product. Installed it myself. Used a table tall enough to get me the correct height. My stud finder was off so drilled a few holes incorrectly lol! Looks good.
