The only things I dislike about this product is the smaller shelf. It’s not the shelf, but the support. Make sure that whatever you put on that shelf isn’t heavy as the plastic support for it isn’t very strong. Also, the hangers for the TV don’t actually secure into anything, so the TV can actually slide along the back support. The other annoying part is the little rectangular super on the bottom connecting the shaft to the floor table is also plastic. Not a real problem if there aren’t any kids or really active clumsy people around or animals, but a bit annoying. Instructions were easy to follow and fasteners work well. Oh, yeh, the tools are horrible. The Phillips screwdriver thing is too small for the screws it’s meant to fit and requires more written than it should. The stamped wrench/spanner tools are also too big and not really easy to use when using them in odd positions assembling the unit. You’re also not going to use all the screws out comes with. The shiny silver screws in one of the bags is for mounting the TV and gives you loads of lengths. ... show more

I was originally concerned about buying this TV stand but I had a rather unique set of requirements for what I needed. My apartment is long but not wide which means every piece of furniture needs to fit properly without making the long living room feel more narrow than it is. A regular TV stand generally is made out of wood and takes up a lot of space. This meant that I needed something that looked open and also did not take up much space. At the same time, it needed to fit everything I had. After some searching, I settled on the Fitueyes Swivel TV Stand. This has two shelves (technically one of the shelves is a glass base but it is meant to be used as a shelf) and another shelf that is ~2 feet above the base. I also have a 56' TV and wanted to make sure that it fit on the TV well. The stand came well packaged and has a ton of parts that needed to be put together. It definitely took close to an hour to put it all together. Following the assembly instructions was a bit challenging as there were only about 8 steps if I recall correctly with each step having many items that need to be put together with the right nuts and bolts. The glass shelves are thick. The base shelf is almost double the thickness of the mid shelf. However, at the end of the day, this is glass we are talking about and it definitely needs some careful handling. I moved the assembled unit around easily enough although it is a bit heavy, which is good. I needed another person to help me mount the TV on the stand though. The cable management system is just okay and made up of two velcro straps and a hole in the spine bar just above the middle glass stand. It could definitely be improved but it was not a deal breaker for me. I also really did not bother much with the swivel although it does work. There are two things that prevent me from giving this 5 stars: 1. I wished there was a 3rd shelf as I have an xbox, N64 :) , receiver and cable box and they all are clamoring for space. 2. The TV (even though it is mounted on the highest possible hooks (this means the TV is mounted at the bottom most height possible) is still a bit higher up than I would have liked. You get used to it quickly but I wish I could have moved the TV further down. All said and done, the Fitueyes Swivel TV stand allows you to push the TV all the way to the wall leaving more space in whatever room you end up using it in and providing a visually appealing and clean installation. ... show more

    • Looks great, very solid, instructions could be clearer

This stand looks great and is very solid too. I read some reviews stating that this stand is not stable, TVs fell off and I am very sure that the trouble was caused by the unit not being assembled correctly. This may be at least partially due to the instructions which are not as clear as they should be. Here are a few tips that I hope help: (1) When mounting the brackets to the back of your TV, make sure that the wider end of the bracket is facing up. Otherwise the TV will be tilted up instead of down and will be off balance. (2) Make sure the big pracket that attaches to the post is facing the correct way, otherwise the hooks may not connect as they should. (3) If your TV has a curved back (like mine which is a Samsung) make sure you use the spacers that came with the TV, not the ones that came with the stand. The ones that come with the stand are not wide enough and are not as strong as the ones made for the TV. (4) The screws that come with the stand may not be long enough if you use the spacers that came with the TV (at least for my 49 inch Samsung). So you may need to go the Home Depot or Lowes and buy slightly longer screws....metric size BTW....also pick up some extra washers in case the new screw is a bit to long. Another suggestion is to put those felt furniture sliders under the base. The stand with the TV is top heavy, so if you need to slide it in order to attached cables, vacuum, etc. this will make it far easier to move and less likely to tip. Last thing, I would not recommend putting a 65 inch tv on this stand.....50-55 max....unless you tether it to a wall for safety. I would have given this 5 stars if the instructions were cleared and they provided longer screws and better spacers (for those of you that have curved backed TVs and do not have the spacers that came with the set). ... show more
