Easy to put together, easy to adjust. Parts aren't physically labeled, look at and compare all your parts before putting it together. Grab a screwdriver, the Allen wrench screwdriver combo was weird and ended up hurting my hand. It's sturdy, holds my archaic monitor and laptop well, has good storage underneath, a nice black finish that didn't get scratched when I was putting it together or stuff on it.

I was worried this would be cheap and not work well since it was $30. It was fairly easy to assemble save for the parts not being labelled so I had to really study the instructions to make sure I used the right piece. There were minimal screws which was nice, but the holes for the screws weren’t big enough. The wood did chip around the screws which was frustrating, but it doesn’t impact the overall look since they were covered. My main grief is I can’t get my hdmi cord in when my laptop is under the center console horizontally, so I have to keep it vertical. Not a make or break, but it is annoying.

Make sure you follow the directions properly, they are easy to understand so I’m not sure how others who left negative reviews assembled the stand incorrectly. I was concerned about transferring the stand to and from my college dorm, but you can break the stand into three pieces that pretty much stack together! I removed one star because the rubber feet came off due to a cheap adhesive. But I will be replacing these since it is easy to replace them and the stand was SO worth it!
