This Smart watch is great quality and has many features available on it just like the more expensive watches. I ordered this watch mainly for use in monitoring my heart rate and blood oxygen detection when sleeping. It was very easy to pair with my cellphone bluetooth connection and uses the VeryFit app which I downloaded to my iPad and is very user friendly. This watch has IP68 water resistance and has a long battery life which is rechargeable with the included special charging cable. There is a full-screen touch control, 100 workout modes, multiple watch faces, heart rate monitoring, stress detection, blood oxygen detection, sleep monitoring and many more features. The included user manual does not really have many instructions as far as actually using the watch which I will need to access in the user guide section on the VeryFit app. After selecting a specific watch face to apply to your watch, you can activate specific features in the app. There is going to be a bit of a learning curve for me trying to figure out how to use some of the features I want but just like with any new electronics item you order they all take some time to learn and adjust to. The watch band is very soft and flexible silicone rubber and is very comfortable on the wrist. The watch face seems a bit large to me but maybe they all are like that so it will take me some time to get used to it. Since the watch face is plastic I will be applying a clear protective covering over it just like the ones that protect the front of a cell phone, otherwise it will get scratched up over time. There are so many features on this Smart watch that it will definetly take some time using it in order to become a more proficient Smart watch user. The back of the watch has some LED lights that are lit red when the watch is attached to your wrist, but I have also seen them light up green when off my wrist so I will need to find some info on that. The charging time only takes 2.5 hours and a full charge will last 5-7 days. The charging cable is unique on one end that has a magnet and some contacts on it that stick directly to the back top area of the watch while recharging it. The other end is a normal USB type-a port to plug into a wall charger. Overall this is a really cool Smart watch loaded with many useful features that is going to hopefully be very useful to me throughout the day and night. I wanted a watch that would do heartrate, sleep tracking, and pulse/ox but there was no way in heck I was paying for a subscription anything or many hundreds for a closed ecosystem (looking at you, apple!). Overall, I got what I wanted - a decent enough looking and very functional smart watch to keep track of my sleep, heartrate, and a few other health metrics, all while letting me know the time and weather. Setup was very simple. You DO have to install their app to set it up (its called Veryfit - available from iOS or Android stores - I use iOS and pair it with an iPhone SE2) as far as I can tell, but you don't need to make an account on it, and I'd imagine you can delete it after you activate the watch if you wanted to. I'm keeping it simply to warehouse the watch data, but I've used my phone's privacy filters to restrict things like location and general internet access. No way to know if those settings really actually work, but it makes me feel better about it anyway. The watch prompted me during initial setup for all the regional settings I would need without having to find them (in/cm, km/mi, lbs/kg/stone, celcius/ferenheit, etc). The app provides a dozen or more different watch faces to choose from, and sells even more. A few more details like height and weight and gender and you're ready to go... no name or email or address or passwords required at all (maybe zip code for weather but that's optional). It charged from 10% to 100% in under an hour using the included magnetic USB charging cable attached to my desktop PC USB port. Lasted 2 days from a full charge with health monitoring turned up to the max settings (heavy battery usage). I do have a few annoyances with this watch. First is the somewhat wonky Bluetooth connectivity. I need to reconnect it about every other day, but its a few taps and fairly quick - just annoying. That might have something to do with my privacy settings (though I don't have the same issues with any other bluetooth device I use). The second annoyance I have is the odd sensitivity of the watch face. Sometimes I need to double or triple tap it to wake it up (which honestly is fine - plus it has a physical button (remember those?!?!) that accomplishes the same thing), but other times, it flashes on/off at full brightness every two seconds or the screen shuts off at my touch for some reason. This is particularly annoying when lying in bed in the dark. I hope that getting used to the quirks as I use it more (had it less than a week at this point) will improve my experience. Still happy at this point though. Overall, I've landed on 4* for this one - the annoyances are just too annoying to make it a 5*, but its truthfully a quite good budget friendly and versatile smartwatch that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. update: I turned off a setting called "wake gestures" and the screen no longer flashes. Its off 100% of the time unless I press the physical button. I like it much better now. Also turned brightness down to 60% and its significantly better everywhere except direct sunlight. ... show more
