  • Worth the price
I bought this elliptical on Prime Day for $199.99. So my review is based on that price. I think anything up to $300 is fair for it. This is not a professional gym level quality piece of equipment, but it gets the job done. There are different models and you can feel differences in the levels of resistance. The interface isn’t the best and is somewhat confusion. Also putting this together is not a fun time. I use this to get my cardio in when I don’t go the the gym have been satisfied with it. I also like that it have a built in cup holder. ... show more

  • Just Below Expectation
I get a great workout every time, so sturdy. The sole reason why I didn't give it 5-Stars is that the connections where the handgrips and foot pedals meet aren't solid, no matter how much I crank down on the bolts -there's a gap, a noticeable free movement when going from pulling to pushing. You can move the handle just a bit til it affects the foot pedal portion and given time this will only increase until the free movement will eventually cause the handle to just break off completely ... show more

  • Total Garbage
Update: I have been using this elliptical on level 1 between 7-8 minutes per day. I am 70 lbs below the weight limit. On the 15th day I started to hear and feel a knocking on the left side. I looked at it carefully and it seems the whole left side assembly moves from left to right with the top being the weak spot. Obviously, it's not supposed to do that. There's no way to tighten it because those are the moving parts and can only tighten so much. Probably because they wouldn't move freely otherwise. Needless to say I am no longer "Pleasantly Surprised"... Original Review: I like that this has a small footprint because of the pedal design and the dual flywheels. It's pretty smooth when using it and the noise is not silent but not loud either. It is quite heavy and feels sturdier than I expected. The "legs" are adjustable for uneven floors and doesn't even rock much on my carpet though I only use it on level 1 for now. The control unit seems kinda flimsy but it works and the buttons have a nice "click" to them. The heart monitor is way off so I wouldn't rely on it. It gets closer to accurate the longer you hold it but always reads low. The footpedals are relatively sturdy but they are only held on by 2 screws and I imagine this is the first point of failure as the machine ages. Be sure not to overtighten them when assembling because I imagine you can damage it. The real weak spot on this is the power supply which is very lightweight and plugs in at the bottom of the back of the unit by the flywheel. It's a small, round plug with a power pack you'd find on a router or laptop. I can easily see someone tripping over it and damaging it. I taped mine down to the back leg with some packing tape. The cord is quite short too. The cup holder is very low and difficult to reach and probably not safe when riding an elliptical. I raised mine by drilling 2 new holes 4-5 inches higher. I was careful to go slowly and press lightly because the wiring runs thru that tube. I used the drill on low power ready to stop pressure and release the power button as soon I felt the drill but break thru. The unit seems to stay on as long as it's plugged in. Maybe it turns off eventually but I haven't tested it for more than a few minutes. For the people who can't figure out how to get into manual mode and not have to use one of the preprogrammed modes just plug it in, start pedaling and press the start button. The timer will start and you can set the level you want. As far as I can tell it starts on level 3. Assembly is a bit complicated but the instructions are accurate. The screws are marked by the step # corresponding to the instructions. It took me 2 1/2 hours to assemble by myself. I imagine you can shave a half hour or so if you have a good helper to get the next parts ready and hold things for you to screw in. Overall, for the price (I paid $240 plus tax) it's a good purchase. A couple of small design changes would have made this a much better product like a longer, sturdier power supply and moving it to the control unit. The cup holder should be much higher and the foot pedals should have been a bit heavier or thicker where they're screwed in. ... show more

  • Excellent value for the price
Too a little time to assemble, but works well and good value

  • Hard to operate
I purchased this elliptical after reading the reviews and the price was reasonable and I was quite disappointed. This machine is hard to maneuver and I regret purchasing it. The only way I could return this several hundred pound machine was to take it all apart and bring to the nearest UPS store. That wasn’t happening. ... show more

  • Awful to assemble, parts do no fit
This is an awful piece of equipment. The instructions are terse and a large number of the pieces do not fit properly and required me to get my own tools to finish. The machine itself is noisy and not very smooth. Honestly I kind of hate it but it took forever to build so now it's here...
