My cats are OBSESSED with this thing. Every time it turns on they are amazed by it until it inevitably turns off. My only wish is that it would stay charged longer. I have to charge it every other day, which becomes a little annoying after awhile. Although, I guess it is only a minor inconvenience for my cats to have the time of their lives. Also, this product will only charge with the cord they provide you. I tried a different charger and it fit into the charging port, but didn’t end up charging the product. This worries me only because I’m not sure what I would do if the charging cord broke. Overall, this product is quiet, inexpensive and keeps my cats entertained. What else could a cat lover want?

I actually love this thing for my cats just got it the other day. So far so good! The only reason i didnt give it a 5 ⭐ is because the suction thing it came with DID NOT adhere to anything! Which for you cat parents out there know is vital cuz they will knock w.e. they want over. Anyway thank goodness i had some spare command hooks so i just attached it to that. It turns on for 10 min with 3 different settings: fast-slow, slow, fast. You select with each mode by pressing the single button to get to the mode you want. It also has a standby time of 1.5 hrs. This is a nice feature my cats love it. I do kind of wish it went on a little longer than 10 minutes though ideally about 20 mins would be better.

EDIT (4/5 stars now): The merchant promptly messaged me and offered a free replacement! My cats really love this toy and I am very appreciative. They were kind, professional, and prompt. Additionally, I received the replacement very quickly! I would recommend if you have issues to message the seller as they might be able to provide a replacement to you. Take good care of the toy like I did and they can likely help you if you run into issues. ORIGINAL REVIEW (2/5 stars) : It's a shame that the unit no longer rotates after 3.5 months. I always took care to turn it off when done and charge it properly. I can still hear the motor or servo spinning; it seems like a mechanical failure since the laser light no longer rotates. My cats love this thing -- it's one of the best toys I've ever gotten them! I just wish the unit lasted longer. Now it's just a laser pointing in one spot...

I absolutely love this toy! My cat, Ashe, gets regular laser fun! And he loves the laser! I move it around occasionally to keep it fresh. Also i will push the button and let him play when I leave the house to help with the transition. I had trouble with the toy, and I had the absolute best customer service ever! They were on top of the situation and got me a new one immediately. And they really cared about what went wrong so they can fix any problems with the toy…. But honestly there is nothing wrong with the laser… I use the new one all day every day! It’s the best part of the day for my cat, Ashe! Once again I want to say this is a great item for any cat owner. And if you need anything you will get extremely wonderful and attentive service to fix any problems!

My cats favorite toy is a laser. I would have to always use a hand laser and play with my cat, he’s still a kitten so he needs lots of attention. But I get so busy with life and dealing with the house that I can’t play with him 24/7. This toy keeps him very occupied, he’ loves it, I’ve never seen a toy like it and I think it’s pretty awesome myself! There is different settings for the speed and action, and it tilts up/down. The only down fall is, it doesn’t suction when I try to suction it on the wall. It maybe will for an hour or so then it’ll fall right off. I would love it so much better if it would just stay suctioned! But it is such a lovely toy and my cat is very satisfied with it :)

I wish I could give it four and a half stars. Purchased it after a friend did for their pet. Their kitten loved it and the fact it shuts off after 10 minutes or so is great as it gave her a break. For older cats, results may vary. My cat got into her prowling stance the first time she saw the red dot moving around, but before she pounced one time she noticed the machine and that was that. Red dot ignored! Lol But I still appreciate what the creators were aiming for with the device and I'm sure it could work with younger cats for sure.

UPDATE: changed the rating since the seller reached out and sent a replacement. Decided to update the rating to reflect the quality of their customer service. Bought this recently and our cats had so much fun, but it didn't last long. The laser stops rotating after a while, which makes it useless as cats won't play with a still beam of light. Very disappointed! P.S. Once I noticed that the toy doesn't rotate anymore, I opened the case to see what's going on and it appears to be an issue with the tiny motor they have inside.

Careful where you aim this thing it will have your pets shooting up the walls like some exorcist movie. Side note don't put this in your bedroom. It does not stop every hour on the hour and surprise your pets don't care what time it is they will launch off your body like it's a spring board to get the red dot. It does have a shut off but if you forget like me you'll find out the hard way. This thing goes in circles unlike Nascar so choose wisely on placement, turned my house into a metal concert things flying everywhere. you've been warned
