This is the second one I have bought and both times at about the 2 year mark the screen stops coming on. It charges, still acts like it’s working but the screen is just black and I can’t do anything. Very disappointed.

I've had one of the Galaxy watches for a while now and grew tired of how inaccurate it was with exercise and other similar apps. This little bugger (Charge 3) is exactly what I wanted. I was going to purchase the new Charge 4 until I read so many reviews saying that the new features weren't worth the extra money, get the 3, and wait until a newer, better version arises. That being said, I bought the lavender edition and it looks great. Super accurate in my workouts and helps me keep track of things I didn't even think I should to help me on my weight-loss journey. It provides motivation and accountability that keeps me line and going strong. I paired this with the FitIndex smart scale and it works like a dream. I could not be more satisfied with my purchase. TL;DR: Amazing product. Excellent accuracy. Don't buy the Charge 4 unless you just have to have it.

Love, love, love my Fitbit Charge 3! I wasn't aware when I purchased it just how many ways I would find it helpful to me. Let me start by saying that I am 62 years old and have NEVER been athletic at all and I am NOT the self-motivated-type. I had knee surgery at the age of 19 which has limited what activities I could do. I have been fairly slim most of my life, but my weight had crept up over the past several years since I sit at a computer all day at work. One thing I can do is walk! So, once I got my Fitbit Charge 3 I started walking after work. At first, I just walked slowly for about a mile, but when I started to lose weight I got motivated to increase my exercise. My Fitbit helps me accurately keep track of the # of minutes, # of miles, # of steps, my heart rate, # of calories, my pace...it is amazing! I use these numbers to slowly (and safely) push myself to do a bit more every week! I also began logging my food consumption and water intake. Doing this I was able to see what changes I needed to make. I have not kept up with it as it is time-consuming, but just doing so for a few weeks pretty much pointed me to the changes I needed to make. Lastly, I have worn my Fitbit to bed to track my sleep patterns. I can't do a whole lot about my sleep, but I can see what my normal patterns are. One thing I found was that I really did sleep better after changing out my pillow for a cooler one. Without my Fitbit, I wouldn't have known if I was imaging my sleep was improved or if it truly was. So, there you have it! I have lost 13 pounds and now weigh only 5 pounds more than I did when I graduated high school! I feel better and look better! My hubby is happier! Buy one! You won't be sorry!

I use the Fitbit to monitor walking and sometimes sleep tracking. For walking it is not accurate as it will show stairs you have climbed when you have not walked up any stairs. It sees elevator upward movement as stair climbing. It only lasts about two years so I definitely want to buy the cheaper one, now that i am having to buy another one. Mine was purchased for me, by my husband, in December 2018. Now it will not charge at all so it is useless. I have the one with the purple cloth band and it is horrible. Gets dirty really fast. They should make it in purple leather instead of cloth. I loved the cloth but it didn't last long due to how it looked when it got dirty. I love the reminders that Fitbit gives you during the day. I have a desk job and it reminded me to get up and move.

First off, I can't believe the number of people who rated the product very low because it didn't have a clock face with a date on it. It doesn't take away the functionality of the watch (heart rate, steps, etc.) but somehow the lack of a date is worth docking 2 or 3 stars. Secondly, now that they have added clock faces with dates on them, I'm astounded by the number of people who haven't changed their reviews. I rely on reviews for products I buy and I almost didn't buy the Charge 3 because of these "negative" reviews, and thank goodness I didn't listen. This is a sleek and beautiful fitness tracker. It's supposedly a bit wider than the Charge 2, but I haven't noticed any extra bulk. I will say the larger screen makes it seem more bulky, but feel-wise it's about the same. Although I probably won't be swimming anytime soon, I'm very happy that it's waterproof. Now there's no worry if I splash water on it when washing my hands, and I no longer have to take it off to wash dishes. I haven't had it long enough to see if the heart rate monitor is better than on the Charge 2, but even if it were the same I would have no complaints. I'm very glad I upgraded to the Charge 3.
