Like the color, material and fit. First pair and like the arch support. Sizing is confusing as some people like these to fit very loose while others like them to fit tighter on the heel. Was told there should be a fingers width from foot to back of clog. Easy on and off. Like look with jeans.

Ok I'm a NYC Chef,I spent countless hours on my feet. I have had just about every type of shoe in Mt 20+ year career and this one is a work horse. It's a bit narrow,and to break them in May be one of the worst experiences of your life unless you when through boot camp with the all leather speed lace style boots they issued back in the 90's. But once you break them in and it does take about three weeks, you have a work shoe that is not only comfortable but stands up to constant kitchen abuse,I will probably never use another shoe and in all honesty after 6 months they feel better than my Jordans, I mean honestly they are more comfortable than my running shoes. If you can get past the break in you won't be mad about the extra money you spend because they will last twice as long as any berk,mozo,crock etc. ... show more

I have been wearing Dansko clogs shoes for about15 years. They were a godsend when I was pregnant with my first daughter - a sizeable 10+ pound child - and after that I refused to wear anything else at work or casually. My last pair wore out before I moved to New Zealand, and I didn't have time before we left to source a new pair. There are no Dansko retailers in New Zealand, and I've been very reluctant to buy online because the shoes I wear -- the Professional clogs -- are individually crafted and sizes vary a bit. After several rounds of severe plantar fasciitis my husband persuaded me to buy them online. Saddly, I was right to be reluctant. The shoes arrived and are easily two sizes too small. I wear a US women's size 12W and the EU42 I received seems to be a US size 10. In retrospect, I should have assumed they would run small and purchased the next size up, but even that would have been too small. Some advice: if you have a wide foot, be sure to have your shoe size properly measured at your local shoe store (and insist on getting the EU measurement -- not US) and buy the MEN's shoe - not women's. I will set my beautiful but unusable pair of oiled leather Professional clogs aside for my daughters. Hopefully one of them will be able to use them in a few years. Obviously it would be throwing good money after bad if I tried to return them (remember I'm in NZ, and overseas shipping is costly).     • Lightweight and supportive - good looking shoe
First day wearing them to the office today. Brought a back up pair of shoes in case I had issues mid-day. No issues. This is my first pair of Dansko clogs. I love them! I wear the Dansko Lexie patent black mule daily but with rainy weather in my region opted to try the clog. I am impressed. Did go up a size as opposed to the open back mule. Comfort and support. Have always loved this style and brand. Once upon a time, I had many, in size 37. Before I could wear them out, they got too small. So I thought I'd get a 38. Judging by my size in other shoes, I thought that would be the 8.5-9 listed. No - it is the 7.5-8. I guess that surprises me, because I wear an 8 or 8.5 depending on the style and whether I expect to wear thick socks. I figured the 7.5-8 would be way too small for anything but the thinnest of socks (if even). Nope, I ordered 2 pair, one of each size, and the 7.5-8 (aka 38) fits great even with thicker socks. The 8.5-9 (aka 39) is way too big with thin and even thick socks. The 38 gives enough room in the heel that it should not rub. Also, I have average to wide feet with a decent bunion on one foot, and these are quite roomy enough in the toe box. Happy feet = big smile! ... show more
