I bought this brace for my daughter who has EDS which is a connective tissue disorder contains painful double jointing with joints going in and out of socket. This brace was meant to help with her posture while walking as to not acerbate her back pain and rib slips. So far so good. She loves the soft feel and comfort. This is not as hard or supportive as her corset but it is not meant to, this one allows you to breathe. It is a little small on her but she lost 15 pounds which she is currently trying to gain back so the brace will fit perfect. Right now she is 5' 5" and 115 pounds. Let me say a few words about this back brace: it's an ingenious design that supports a workaholic lifestyle! First, it’s super easy to put on, with just the slightest adjustment needed. You simply strap it on according to your liking, and you’re good to go for the rest of the day. And, 2nd, it’s cozy enough to wear, but doesn’t feel like it’s restraining your minutest movements. So, as I have been working from home (for 2 years running now) and mostly subjected to computer work on a day to day basis, I needed something exactly like this product. I have an entire house to tidy up and my small children to look after as well, so this back brace really does come in handy. It’s provided such wonderful support especially to my back, which is the area of my body most prone to start aching as soon as stress gets to me. It also seems like the back brace is designed specifically for my body – once you have it on, it just fits beautifully. At first, I was a bit bothered about whether it would get in the way of my shoulders and arms coordination. But once you get used to wearing one (within 3 days for me), the straps that go right under the underarms feel like they’re not even there. Mobility isn’t hampered or anything. And there are days where I even lose track of the fact that I’m still wearing this back brace… It’s THAT comfortable and weightless! Lastly, I would say that this back brace isn’t all hype among people that have severe back problems! I had a previous product which did not work because it slide up. This product is attached to a large belt around the waist so it stays in place and brings the shoulders back into proper posture. The shoulder straps attach to the waist belt in such a way to pull them away from your shoulders and prevent it from binding under the arms. The con is that I can barely fasten the belt around my big belly, which is a good reminder that I need to loose weight! ... show more

I have another brace and wanted to try this one as it looks like Fit Geno understood the need to keep the armpit straps from curling under and being uncomfortable. They did with this brace. The two extra frontal straps keep the armpit straps from curling under your armpits very well. It makes the brace very comfortable to wear and not having to constantly adjust the straps. They stay put with the extra straps that velcro to the front. Very good. Other makers should take heed of this ! It has 4 metal stays in it for further support which work well. I had to slightly bend the 2 taller ones to my fit and that works very well. All straps are easy to secure and stay in place nicely. I wear a light weight shirt under it for comfort and I actually wear another shirt on top of it and it really is not that noticeable at all. Overall I recommend this brace. The sizing in their chart is true just make sure you measure your true waist so your fit will be best. I got a XXL and I am bout 6' tall and 225 lbs and it fits me well (there's also room for further adjustment if I need it). ... show more

This is a decent brace to help remind a person to stand up straight. The straps around the shoulders are a little uncomfortable and tend to dig, but the back brace itself is well made and does the job. Order a size up if you want the proper fit.

I have tried other posture correctors in the past.. that seem to yank on my shoulders and cause abrasion under the arm pits. Really like this one.. as the control is lower down in the back as well as has comfortable shoulder harnesses. It was easy to put on and adjust.
