    • Great for a 3 year old into dinosaurs and robots.
Our 3 year old is into robots and dinosaurs so this was a perfect Christmas gift. He loves it! Even for a 3 year old he is able to to do the basic buttons of walking forward and backward. He has already put a lot of miles on the dinosaur and no problems yet. He has used all the buttons on the remote and all work as advertised. The only downside to the remote is that it has the program button on it and when that is clicked by accident the robot will stop moving since it is in program mode. You either have to turn off the dinosaur or press the program button again. A 3 years old doesn’t understand that and gets frustrated. It has only happened a few times. Otherwise this keeps him busy for a very long time. It seems sturdy enough that we don’t worry about our 3 year old carrying it around. It was quick to set up and the ability to recharge the dinosaur battery is a plus. ... show more

First order, the package was missing the tails tip but a quick call to the company remedied that. They responded very quickly. It was the main Christmas present for four year old. The controls were a little confusing for him at first but he figured it out with adults help quickly. Older kids may get bored fairly fast but it’s a cool little toy. Got this for our 6 year old because she specifically asked for a "robot dinosaur" for her birthday. I will say, she was absolutely in love just the fact that is moved and danced and had her own remote. The remote is quite a strange setup though and i found it a bit confusing but kids now a days are able to figure out just about anything with technology. i also found the charging to be extremely strange as you have to take out the entire battery pack and use its proprietary plug, why not just go with usb-c like everything else now a days? also, found the dart firing feature to be quite spotty and only works the way its supposed to sometimes but it is cool when it does and definitely already got our daughter into trouble (as we expected). overall not a bad toy, especially for the price, just strange setup ... show more

    • Battery compartment is too small (Fire risk?)
I've been hearing a lot about lithium battery fires and my concern for this toy is the compartment for the battery risks damaging the battery just by inserting it. It is not designed for the battery provided (or it was very poorly designed). Overall the toy is very cool and my children love it. I worry it is a fire hazard and have not had any luck finding a suitable battery replacement. The connector is very specific and also barely fits in the compartment when plugged in. ... show more
