Description

Designed to significantly reduce the effort required to cut through tough tree branches up to 2 in. thick, Fiskars Ratchet Lopper features an easy-to-use ratchet design. Simply insert the thick, dry tree branch between the blade and anvil and squeeze – the ratchet design compounds the force of a few small squeezes to power through the branch without straining your hands and arms. The fully hardened, precision-ground steel blade has a low-friction coating that helps the blade glide through wood, prevents gumming with sap and debris, and adds rust resistance. Tough steel construction with riveted handles provides a lasting value.

  • Love this product!
Style: 32" Ratchet Anvil
The leverage these loppers provide is amazing. Makes easy work of branches that were too thick for cutting with conventional loppers. High quality product. Pruned 80 fruit trees this winter and the blades held up incredibly well. Kept their sharpness. I highly recommend.

  • Great Lopper that a petite, senior woman can use!
Style: 32" Ratchet Anvil
I love this Rachel looper! I got it intending for my husband to use thinking the grip would be too wide for my small hands, and length would make it a bit heavy for me: early 60’s and not strong upper body. However, though the grip is a bit wide for my hands, once we figured out how it works I find it so easy to use it. The rachet function enables you to not have to exert a lot of force. If I can use it, anyone can use it! ... show more

  • Gives you better mechanical leverage to cut thick branches.
Style: 32" Ratchet Anvil
Ratcheting loppers greatly increase your leverage when cutting thicker branches. Makes cutting hardwood limbs much easier. 👍🏼

  • Good loppers
Style: 32" Ratchet Anvil
Great for when you need those bigger limbs gone with little upper body strength. Has worked well and seems to be durable.

  • Buy the 15-inch Fiskars loppers instead
Style: 32" Ratchet Anvil
These didn't work. Not at all. I couldn't even cut branches that I can usually cut with hand shears. The blade doesn't even make contact with the anvil surface, so cutting would not be complete even if I had been able to cut anything at all. I finished the entire job by using my old Fiskars 15-inch loppers instead and returned this useless non-functioning device to Amazon. I DO RECOMMEND the Fiskars 15-inch loppers for branches (even oak) up to one inch in diameter. This particular item was a complete failure, as well as being unnecessarily heavy and awkward to use. ... show more
