I have been looking for a playhouse for my granddaughter (soon-to-be 4) and couldn't find anything I liked or thought would hold up as she's kind of rough with toys. This is cute and folds and clicks so it stays shut and has a handle so can be carried from room to room (I've seen others that fold but don't click shut). It has some cute features, plays some tunes, it's kind of cute but also odd that you can put two of the small dolls in bed and push a lever and it "tosses" them out of the bed. I guess that's one way to wake someone up. I think something lights up, also, but I can't remember. Another thing I found odd is it has a little bathroom and plays a tune that says something about taking a bath, but I don't remember seeing a tub, it has a sink and a toilet. Some people complain that it arrives "not put together" but it is easy to do. Has two rods that connect the 2 pieces of the house and you need a small screwdriver but it's not difficult. One rod goes in one direction, the other goes in the opposite direction and I imagine it's done that way to avoid breakage in transit. Has a few little people and I think she will get a kick out of the music and especially tossing the people out of bed. There's a refrigerator that plays music when you open it too. So....all in all, this was one of the best playhouses I could find, others seemed flimsy and not as cute. It's worth the price. I think she is too young yet for a fancy playhouse. ... show more
