Assembly of the bed frame was straightforward and relatively easy; however, the junction at one of the four couriers was slightly distorted and required considerable “persuasion” with a hammer to get the pieces together. One of the screws joining that corner was difficult to screw in, as well. There are many screws and getting them all the way was a challenge using the small Allen wrench that is provided. I didn’t have a hex bit big enough on hand but that would have made the assembly much easier and quicker. The finish frame is very sturdy and its height provides useful storage space underneath. These came so quick and the are so easy to put together. They did come a little faulty I ordered two and the both were a lil damaged but still was able to put together.

These were a nightmare to put together! I've put together a lot of furniture over the years and these were the worst. I bought 2 of them and I regret it. Directions are really easy, all the parts are labeled but..... none of the holes lined up, the screws go in the worst possible spot ( the very corner)making it hard to get them in. The Allan wrench that was included wasn't the right size for the bolts included,I had to use my own tools. If you don't have your own set putting this together might be a problem. Even once everything was tightly secured the bed wiggled a lot and made me question how long these will last. The Clearence under them is not as tall as they say so the storage I was going to put under them is no longer an option. Where they are welded together is really sloppy and barely looks connected in some places. They are just not good bed frames. I feel like I paid $100 each for scrap metal. ... show more

The metal coating to protect from rust arrived with bubbles and flakes missing - one flake apparently missing such a long time ago that there is ALREADY RUST on NEW frame???? I contacted firsthomes with their warranty and put in my claim but NO RESPONSE after several days. The middle bars come with an already applied-to-bar sticker that's supposed to help the mattress not move but good luck doing your sheets because these bars just sit in their cubbies - THEY ARE NOT ATTACHED so any time you lift the mattress these fall right out - I had to turn them the opposite direction so it hopefully sticks to the frame and won't come undone but really poor design and customer service, and very cheaply made. ... show more
