This hammock was awesome! I took a hiking trip out into the mountains, and this hammock kept mosquitoes off me and kept me very dry from the rain during the night. I hoisted my hammock over a river bed to really put the mosquito net through its paces. Naturally, there was an absolute downpour during the night, and this thing held up great! Seems to be of the same fine quality that I had fallen in love with from my first one I purchased about four years ago. I used that first one over a thousand times and it held up very well. Super simple setup and quick stow away design with durable moisture wicking material, make this a must have for keeping bugs at bay. The puzzler about this second purchase, when I picked up from the delivery location (Michael's) it required not just my photo ID but also that I was 21 or older. Not a problem for me but if you are 18, 19, or 20, I guess check with the seller before purchasing. Very odd. ... show more

This thing was spectacular for 4 nights on the Appalachian Trail. My AirPad went flat and I was in the ground in my tent. I hiked back to the car and took this baby out and it saved my trip. No bigs, waaaaay more comfortable! I am a hammock camper because of this beaut! Get an under quilt if you are going out in cooler weather. I also upgraded the straps for a bit more length and more stout carabiners cuz I’m 6’3” 245. It’s a solid build though. I love it! ... show more

Great news: amazing that a fake backpacker like me could put this up in 10 min out of of the box (eagle rock loop - umpire, AR) Ok news: I would have given this a 5 star but the tarp is not big enough to cover the entire hammock. It started raining & rain got through. My recommendation is to get the option w/o the tarp & then buy a larger tarp separately. ... show more
