Purchased as an entry level vest, and it exceeded my expectations. This seems to be an option for anyone from the beginning stages of air soft fandom, to the home grown operator. The packaging was not as expected, a big bag in a large box wasn't awe inspiring, but not a big issue; it gets the job done. I appreciated the information included that helped me understand that the manufacturers goal was to satisfy customers. Then we get to the main event - the vest! It appears to be higher quality than I anticipated, and looks very nice. The feel is sturdy, and each strap/clip/snap all operate properly, and fit securely. The vest holds its shape and keeps form without bunching sloppily. The vest itself is like a gift that keeps on giving. As you go throughout the vest, it has extra compartments and pockets that just keep appearing. The vest allows for customization to your preferential load out, which is expected, but nice that it was delivered. The plate pocket has more than enough material to keep an optional plate in place, as well as additional material to snug it down in the pocket itself. The shoulder straps have an included pad which can be removed - again, you can make it your own! The biggest concern I had, was fit. I am not in any sort of battle ready condition, I need some x's added to my sizing. When I first went to put on the vest, it didn't fit. However, it has a sizing adjuster so even those like me, are able to enjoy the benefits of having a tactical vest. There are enough pockets, MOLLE webbing, and mag carriers included to get you started in whatever you're interested in. Time will tell if it has great durability and maintains appropriate comfort levels, but for now, it seems to be a winner. All in all, seems like a great addition to the collection and a great bang for the buck! ... show more

Bought this vest while on deployment because the one issued by the Army is little too bulky and uncomfortable. Let’s start off with the good: Light weight and enough space to carry a combat load and then some. It fits L/XL plates without any issues and it comes with pouches for the inclusion of side plates which is good. It looks good and very high speed and deff looks like you paid a premium. The bad : Not much really, just the fact the shoulder pads that come with it are okay, not the best. Luckily I had aftermarket gel pads that help with that. Also the vest has loops on the left and right that I Clíp my rifle with sling onto. A bit concerned that the weight maybe too much but i I do let the rifle rest on top of the mag pouches which help alleviate the weight on it. I have to say the construction, the quality and everything else, including the quick release buckets were made of decent quality materials. The stitching on one of the pistol magazine Velcro pockets were not stitched to completion in a very small area but still that is where eventually it will lead to a problem if you cannot keep the contents of the pocket intact. all in all I am very satisfied with my purchase. ... show more

This is a high quality vest, much better than I expected. It is heavy duty with sturdy stitching. I guess you can tell I like it very much. It has pockets and more pockets. If I filled them all it might get a little heavy lol. Nice shoulder pads on straps for weight distribution. Easy on easy off. A lot of the reason I like it so much, the fact that it is comfortable, I'm a big guy 275 lbs. I was worried if it would fit me as it is one size fits all, But not only did it fit but I extended it to as large as possible, I had to adjust it back down, so it can fit people larger than me. This was a BIG surprise. Not only would I buy again but I'm going to recommend this to family and friends. A+ ... show more

Been using this vest for a few months now. Currently have 2 10”x12” and 2 6”x6” but it will accommodate 11”x15” and 6”x8”plates. Very well constructed, took it to a shoe repair shop to replace the plastic quick releases on the shoulder with metal ones and the cobbler remarked at how well constructed it was.     • Shoulder straps are too long
The plate carrier is well built. It seems like it might make it as a duty vest if I can get past the 3 issues I have with it. The first issue is the length of the shoulder straps. They’re too long. I’m 5’10, 250lbs. Broad shouldered and big chested, but if I adjust the shoulder straps so the plates sits over my vitals, I have to get creative with stowing the excess. Gripe number 2, I wish there was a way to remove the interior waist straps without cutting them. My last issue is with the admin molle on the chest… it sits too low and my ATAK gets in the way of the mags as it rides right on top of them. Also, if you have any little bit of OCD, you’re gonna have to pick a side to mount the ATAK case as the case sits 4 molle slots wide and this carrier has 5 molle slots across the top… who does that?? Aside from those, it is well built. I’ll probably strip the mag pouches and keep it as a weighted workout vest. ... show more
