I highly recommend this blade. I bought it for my Silhouette Cameo Pro and it fits perfectly with no adapter. I have been trying to cut HTV with very intricate details and my regular blade was not working. I used the 30° blade and it worked perfectly! I would recommend doing a test cut to get the settings right because the blade sticks out further than the silhouette brand. These lines are about 1/32 of an inch wide and it weeded with no issues at all. I love the idea that you can change the blades out for exactly what you need. ... show more

This holder and set of blades works well with the CAMEO 5. It fits right into the number 1 slot without any adapters. I've been cutting vinyl stickers with it and it outperforms both the Auto-blade and Premium blades that Silhouette sells. The Silhouette blades would always make a lot of jaggy cuts on the laminate overlay no matter how many light, fast passes I made. This one cuts cleanly with the 45 degree (Red) blade. The construction is really nice anodized aluminum and the blade depth can be conveniently adjusted on the top without having to remove it from the machine. I'm never buying a Silhouette blade again after using this one. And, I'll save a bunch of money buying only blades rather than cheap plastic holders. ... show more

cameo 5a. tool holder one registers it at a 1 mm blade but took holder two wont register it as anything:(

I’ve used a cb09 blade for my cameo pro for years because it’s much cheaper and more versatile than the auto blade. I really like that this plotter came pre-numbered so I didn’t have to print a label & make sure it’s correct. I tried the 45 degree blade on Oracal 651 vinyl and it worked great. It fits perfect & the cameo registered it as an auto blade 🤔 It didn’t come with instructions but pushing the top “button” allows you to drop in the blade. I had to change the pressure setting on my machine quite a bit because the blade sticks out further on 1mm than my previous one. Other than that, the item is hefty and seems to be made well.
