Bought this vest while on deployment because the one issued by the Army is little too bulky and uncomfortable. Let’s start off with the good: Light weight and enough space to carry a combat load and then some. It fits L/XL plates without any issues and it comes with pouches for the inclusion of side plates which is good. It looks good and very high speed and deff looks like you paid a premium. The bad : Not much really, just the fact the shoulder pads that come with it are okay, not the best. Luckily I had aftermarket gel pads that help with that. Also the vest has loops on the left and right that I Clíp my rifle with sling onto. A bit concerned that the weight maybe too much but i I do let the rifle rest on top of the mag pouches which help alleviate the weight on it. I bought this as we have property that I routinely patrol each night, and I wanted something that I could quickly grab and throw on that would have everything I need on it. I also was doing a training class for a weekend and needed it for that too. It was a tough “real world” class and while other peoples gear was failing, this vest held up to the entire class with no problems. The mag pouches hold their form well and the elastic stays to the side for when you need them off for quick mag changes. Took an hour or two for them to relax and find their correct place, but once they did, they were perfect. I also LOVE the quick release sides, which was the main reason I got this vest. I wanted something that had an easy, yet durable quick fetch for a side so that I could slid it on one side and click it in and be ready to roll and it is just that. Overall it’s a great vest and for the price I think it is really hard to beat if you are not going into the several hundred dollar price range. ... show more

If you are taller then 5’8” and weight more 180 lbs or between medium or big guy body composition, this is the best for you. Comfortable, light weight and versatile thanks molle design. I borrowed two different brands of plate and fitted. Im happy with my purchase.

I was skeptical that a flak jacket could be made well for this price point. I was gladly surprised by how well the flak jacket was made. The stitching is great, the plastic quick releases are made well, and the cummerbund is just like my old flak from the Marines. Great product.
