  • It does fit bigger folks
Color: Tan
I was skeptical, but purchased anyway. I'm no where near a daily operator, but this fits the bill for me. I'm 6'4" and 250#s. The length is good, the belt falls right where it should, the pistol belt is plenty big with adjustment left, I can zip it up no problems, in fact I could probably wear a pretty thick hoodie with this. The 4 mag pouches will hold 8, 30 round AR mags but only 4, 30 round AK mags if you want the velcro flap on the mag pouch to close. You can cram 2 AK mags per pouch but it's a crummy fit and mag pouch won't close, and surely you'd destroy the material in short order. On the left side both the pistol holster and pistol mag holder are attached with velcro, so they can be removed and something else added if you so chose. ... show more

  • Well made and worth the money if it will fit you...
Color: Black
The vest seems well made and you get a lot for the money. It has enough pockets to fit anything you wish to carry for many activities. Before I describe my (disappointing) experience with it, allow me to give you some of the features in a Pros/Cons list: Pros: 1) It has shotgun shell holders 2) It has pistol magazine holders 3) It has a holster for a pistol that would fit your Glock 19 or 17 but not the 34 with the small Vortex Venom RMR on it and it will most likely not fit a 10mm hunting pistol. It is also shaped to fit a revolver and it can be long if you do not mind the barrel sticking out from the bottom. 4) It has a belt so you can hang all the stuff you need and the belt comes with 2 removable sideways pockets for your pocket knife or whatever. 5) It has huge pockets inside that would be able to accommodate any flat item or paper like a map. (Yes people still need maps when the GPS batteries are dead) 6) The belt is removable and you can use the loops that hold on to the belt to mount it on a belt of your liking. 7) the holster and the 3 pockets (good for pistol mags) are removable so you can move the holster up and the pockets down if you like to hold your rifle across your chest and you don't want it to be hitting the pistol grip. 8) It is made out of material that can take a lot of abuse without coming apart. 9) It will fit most people width wise. Cons: 1) It will not fit people over 6 feet tall (see below for details) 2) The removable and interchangeable holster and pockets are only on the left side of your body and the right side does not have detachable components. The pockets that are good for pistol mags would be more useful on the lower right side of your body. 3) The belt loops must hold on to a belt because otherwise every time you try to open a velcro pocket, you pull the whole vest up. 4) The "rescue strap" on the upper back side is a good idea but will most likely chock the person wearing the vest unless the belt is tight around their waste and the pull force will no undo the loops that strap the vest to the belt. Having said that, it is better having it so someone can pull you from it if needed. 5) Because it is one size fits all, the side straps are too long and depending how "wide" you are, to make it tight you will have to take a lot of the slack off and have hard time to make it feel like the vest is nice and tight around your body. Once you adjust them, you will most likely have to cut the excess because the straps are too long. Why 4 stars: In my case, I should have given it less than 4 stars but it will work for many other people so I feel that 4 stars are fair. I am 6 feet 3 inches tall and 245 pounds (down from 265! and still working on it) and I was skeptical about the vest fitting my height and "width". I know I am fat for my height and it is hard to find vests that fit well so I carefully read a lot of the QA information on this vest and I found more than one people that answered fitment questions which said they were my height (or taller) and around my weight and claimed this vest fits them. So I ordered it confident that it will fit me. Turns out this vest will not fit people over 6 feet tall and that is stretching it a bit (no pan intended). My son is 6 feet and had him try it on. It fits but still not long enough. In the pictures, you can see that when I bring the belt to my waste, the back of the vest is too high to the point that the back loops that hold on to the belt will not reach the belt. If I put the back loops on the belt and put it on, the buckle of the belt ends up on my belly button (no picture of that, it looks stupid). There is a way to shorten it from the shoulder velcro but not to make it longer and I do not think that you could effectively shorten it more than a couple of inches because you still need the velcro to keep it up. In conclusion, if you need a vest like this, you can be very wide or thin but it would work best if you are between 5' 5" and 5' 10" unless you do not mind removing the belt and just putting it on to carry your fishing gear or whatever you carry around with you. ... show more

  • Impressive for the cost
Color: Green
TL;DR - very nice for the money and I would recommend this to any new player over other products. Sure you can't customize it like mil-sim vests but often times you don't need to unless running non-standard gear. Longer version - I normally do airsoft in a higher quality vest. That being a customizable mollie vest with plate inserts and tons of gear. By tons I can easily store 14 M4 mags, 3 grenades, radio, BBs, 2 side arms + mags, etc. However, do to recent changes in my body (breast size) I've been struggling to use a normal vest as I can't breath with. I'm also having issues with overheating due to running a lot and dealing with the weight of my gear on my shoulders/back. So I decided to give this a try to see if it would improve my enjoyment of the sport. First throught when I saw this is that it has to be junk. Yet I saw several vet players on the field with these things. Yes I also see a ton of rental players and noobs... hence my thought of "this has to be junk". As most new players pick up amazon cheap items that break on the first day. However, after getting it myself I'm actually very impressed. Sure it is not top of the line but it is also not expensive either. Break down of what I like and don't: Pro: * Light Weight * Breath easy * Cool easy * Easy to zip up * Pistol holder is in a good spot * Pistol mags are easy to access * Has 4 double stack m4 mag slots * Pistol holder can be removed * Pistol Mag holder can be removed * Shotgun shell holder can be removed * Pocket under shell holder has velcro to store shell holder * Pocket under shell holder is big enough to store a Galaxy 8 Note (use this on the field for tracking movement & comms) * Has several velcro + button clips for attaching to belt (my normal vests only have 4) * Lacks padding so I can feel hits (useful for calling hits, not so much for pain but am use to it) Con: * Belt is useless (its not bad, but hard to use for gear or holding up pants) * Side pouches on belt are not useful * Mags are hard to reach at times * Mags can be blocked by sling due to location * Mags can fall out if not fully secured * Hard to take off if attached to belt of pants (had fun using the girls restroom on the field XD ) * M4 mag storage can't be moved or adjusted (frustrating as side arm storage can be adjusted) ... show more

  • A nice vest for the money. Overall good quality.
Color: Black
The prioduct is of good quality and has many extra pockets to enhance the overall appearance. I have one problem with the included holster, one of the snaps that holds it to the vest is broken and makes the holster sit at a bad angle. Other than that, NO issues at all with this product.
