These fire starters make it really easy to get a campfire going. They light easily with a match or lighter, catch quickly, then burn hot and steady. The larger pieces of kindling will be burning in no time if they are on or next to one of these. They are a bit bulky, but they are very lightweight. The whole box hardly weighs enough to notice. They're probably too bulky for backpacking, but if you are car camping and want to make it easy to start your campfires, then these are just what you need. Five stars.

These fire starters are ok. I find myself needing to use two to light a chimney of coals, and for the price, I would have hoped that one would be enough. They say they are all natural, which is nice, and they do light up very easily, just a moment of flame and they are fully on fire. Compared to some other starters I've used, these are better, but compared to the weber starters, they are not.

I put a few of these in my fire pit before anything else. Then I added some kindling and paper, lit another one of these and tossed it in. My fire started right up - I didn't need to think twice. These can even be lit with the electronic flameless lighters, which I use. Some fire starters require a flame, but these light right up with the electrical arc. No problems with these - they do what they are supposed to do.

I like how small and light these are. And, they light pretty easily and burn just good enough to start a fire if you have good, dry kindling. I don't expect these to start a charcoal fire or start one with green or damp wood, but that's hard to do with just about anything. I used one to get a fire going to burn off some brush in my backyard and it started it with no issues.

This arrived in good shape, they appear to be wax coated and look like they will be able to catch flame. We are leaving for a camping trip in a week and I will update this review once we are back and have used them.

Now that hubby has his grill we can use these to heat up the coals. This is more natural to use versus newspaper which is gross. The little bundles are portable and I can use it in my table top fire pit. I can just use half to light my pit and glad to have this because where we live it is windy, and things take awhile. Now that we have these, not anymore.

We love a good backyard firepit in the summertime and I like to be sure that we have the fuel we need to get the blaze going. We're pretty handy with kindling and matches, but when it's windy, it's nice to have these firestarters. They quickly light and stay lit, thanks to the pine shavings and beeswax. They're also very portable (toss them in a sandwich bag), so are easy to take to the beach or camping, or just to have in your hiking kit. At time of writing, the price was $12 for 32 firestarters, which is a great value to me.
