So it seems like this must be a newer version of the product. The version I had looked like thick cardboard sheets, each sheet scored into about 40 1"x1" squares. So in theory there were 160. But the score lines were just kind of a suggestion, and in practice the 1" squares seemed kind of small so I always ended up using the equivalent of 3-4 at a time. So maybe 30-40 actual uses. The product lit easily and never failed to get my BBQ going. The smell was neutral and not a problem at all.

I purchased a Solo Stove so when it cooled down enough I wanted to use it only to have the commonly-used chimney log with oak logs. That log left soot all over my patio furniture! Since I had more of those logs there was no way I was using them again. Found these and I can’t say how easy it was to start a great fire. No more soot and these burn clean. I used 1 tablet to start my fire just with the oak logs. Two will get that fire screaming in no time. I highly recommend these over any quick start chimney logs since their paper wrapping is waxy. This burns clean and burns hot by themselves that they should be a part of your survival kit. One alone can probably make you a hot cup of coffee with a canteen/metal cup.

Used these in the fire pit at the beach and they worked as expected. On two occasions it was pretty windy so I used a couple of them but they definitely made life easier, especially with the wind. I didn't notice any more smoke or odor than there would normally be, and was happy that there wasn't even the usual kerosene odor that some of these firestarters can have.
