Excellent, I tried 3 brands of cases and this was by far the best. The case is sturdy, has a cutout for the cameras microphone, the grooves for viewing are deep and hold the iPad in place. Great price, you can’t do better.

This case did it's job! I was distracted loading the kids in the car and placed my ipad on my car hood. Only as I sped up to 50 miles per hour did I notice my ipad as it caught air and flew off my car! It tumbled corner over corner. It came open, the ipad still secure in the snapped on case, became detached from the cover. When it came to a stop, it was laying on top of the cover. Luckily, I had protective glass and it only had minor cracks on the two corners that it came down hard on. The underlying glass is perfectly intact. In the end, with only minor scratches to the silver casing, this case protected my investment! Oh, and my apple pencil popped out too with only minor damage to the tip which is easily replaced! I will purchase a new one of these cases! ... show more

    • Balance between sturdiness and utility

This case strikes a good balance between sturdiness and utility. I have a Fintie case for my Kindle that I love, but a Kindle is a much smaller device so I was concerned this case might be too bulky and take way from the enjoyment of my iPad. It does not. Although not as sleek as other cases, what is lost in sleekness is gained in protection; I have no doubt this case will protect my iPad if it is accidentally dropped (which of course I'll try to avoid but given time is inevitable) and from everyday wear and tear since I will be storing it in my backpack or briefcase with other items like books while traveling. The way the case swivels around to make either a portrait or landscape stand is cool too and the case is well made so this mechanism seems like it will last along with the case itself. I bought this case in purple, which is more of a plum or mauve, but the inside is the beautiful royal purple that I love so much. Lastly, the case has a space for the Apple pencil *AND* the pencil charging adapter that can very easily get lost and holds both snugly so they will not fall out. Other cases only have the former and not the latter. Overall I am satisfied with this case and highly recommend it. ... show more

LOVE this cover! I did my research before buying and this cover is solid, durable, looks beautiful, easy to handle and works brilliantly! 1. The swivel design allows me to use landscape or portrait as needed (especially useful for video calls or when charging). 2. The PU leather is excellent quality soft yet sturdy, matte, cushioned for impact protection and just a great quality all around. Inside where the device clips in is a sort of shell plastic and the other side is a sort of velvet. 3. The base where the two grooves are to support docking the iPad to adjust two angles - it is a hard solid base. So it sits well on my lap. The only thing I did not like about this is that the cover did not have a magnetic snap close like was advertised. So mine stays open just the teeniest bit - not a problem, it won’t fly open. Plus it has a strap to hold in place. But they should put a magnetic snap!! My fintie kindle covers do and they are super! Please fix this! ... show more

This is gorgeous, practical, sturdy, and ingeniously designed. I bought myself a new ipad for black Friday and I took a chance on this for a protective cover. I've used other rolltop cover designs for my tablet, and while they work for that (I use mainly for Kindle), it does not support the tablet or prop it up as it supposed to. Solid, sturdy case, quality product. Only thing of slight annoyance is there is a built in holder for an Apple pen that blocks access to the sound controls on the side of the iPad. You can access the sound control via settings or take the iPad out of the case for the buttons.
