I like this case for the Surface Pro 7. It's sturdy and snug to the device. The bottom of the case is a little flimsy but if you drop it, it would most likely tilt towards the edge because of how heavier the edges are. It's probably how it's designed to do. Also, The pen holder is nice, I don't have to worry about the magnet to stop working when putting it on the Surface Pro 7. One thing that I did notice, and it could be a deal-breaker for some, but, the kickstand cover can make a difference if it bugs you or not. I measured it and without the kickstand cover, the Full Range of Motion leaves a gap of just under 2 inches. With the kickstand cover the Full Range of Motion leaves a bigger gap of just under 8 inches. So that leaves about a 6 inch difference between the cover on and the cover off. It's up to you. It bothered me at first but then I realized it helps me write with my Surface pen a little better being tilted up 6 more inches with the cover on it.

Good case. I paired it with a vinyl decal underneath to protect my surface from any scratching and to personalize it a little. The only issue I had with it was the piece that goes over the kick stand was a little too tight, and when installing it actually made the kickstand bow out a little from squeezing it too hard. Not much, I don't think it will damage it, but a little concerning.

I bought my surface years ago and my husband cracked the screen in no time. But, it’s been working ever since and still amazing! I finally found a shop that could repair it and it’s like brand new but I wasn’t taking any chances. This case is amazing. The fit is perfect and the built in kickstand fits like a glove so there’s no hassle at all. It’s just like normal but just a tad bit with a bulk since surface pros are sleek and light. But, the added protection to keep it longer is worth it!

It’s OK. It does provide good protection for the Surface, with only the ports, screen, and underside of the kickstand exposed. Unfortunately, the fit of the case around the body isn’t very tight - it definitely feels like you could slip the case off if you didn’t get a good grip when reaching for it. As other reviewers have mentioned, there’s a floppy ridge that ostensibly protects the portion of the lower Surface edge that connects to the keyboard. This plastic ridge is pretty flimsy and doesn’t really fit snugly as it’s slightly too long - it probably does provide some protection by filling a gap, but it sure feels cheap and rattles around at a touch. You’ll notice it when you carry the Surface folded as the plastic ridge is so wobbly compared to the rest of the case. The side pen holder works very well, and the rubber keyboard clip does the job, although I have doubts about its longevity. The power adapter slot is a little hard to reach as it’s so recessed into the case, but I’ve found that just letting the magnetic clasp guide placement of the adapter works fine. All in all, it’s not great, but since there are so few choices for Surface cases, I think it’s probably worth buying for the protection and pen holder. *EDIT: One thing I forgot to mention: Because the headphone and USB ports are so recessed, there's no extra room for thicker connectors. I can't use my Sennheiser corded headphones or a TP-Link WiFI adapter with the case on because the ports are set too far back and there's no extra spacing. Something to keep in mind.

The fit is good, and my only reservation is the base of the backside that is hard plastic. It's thin and feels like it could break at any moment, and it really doesn't add anything to the case other than connecting the bottom corners. The travel charger and charging dock fit well. Fits perfectly with an official type cover from Microsoft with a decent way of securing it in the corner. All around a very good option for what I needed.
