If you get to the spill fast enough it beads right off without seeping in. Feels like a sort of leather, suede type of material. Very easy to keep clean. They are sturdy and comfortable. With a toddler in the house the wide height adjustability has been even more helpful than initially anticipated. Assembly took about 45 minutes. The instructions were clear and straightforward. My husband added a dab of Loctite to each screw to assure optimal sturdiness for the life of the stools. So far working out very well. Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase and plan to buy another set soon.

Great stools for the price. The leather has a soft texture and they swivel smoothly. Set up was easy. One downside is that they bounce/sink in a little when you sit in them.

I bought these chairs used like new. Nothing was wrong with them, I put them together in about 5 minutes, and they are comfortable! I have a counter height bar and I feel like the chairs are sturdier at that level than they are fully heightened. I had bar stools that were hydraulic in the past and these ones are much better. They also look great and are more aesthetically pleasing than a lot of other chairs I was looking at purchasing.
