Keep the box it comes in their will be a code on it you need to set the lock up after that easy as 123. Once you get it set you need to touch it one so it come on and then touch it again with your fingerprint.

Use it all the time, but my only issue with it is if your hands get wrinkled by a pool/sauna, or whatever, it will not pick up your fingerprint. Not great if you went to the gym before work! But, other than that, it is a neat little lock.

Update: customer service has offered to help with the issue. Prior review: I followed the directions, lock will not open now. There is a design issue. Design tip: there should only be two states in the programming. Either it takes the new fingerprint or it defaults to always unlocked.
