After testing several folding pianos—including the OYAYO and TERENCE models—I chose to keep the Finger Dance. It’s not the most premium in feel or sound, but it offers the best balance of portability, functionality, and convenience. It folds easily, holds a long battery charge, charges via USB-C, and works well with Bluetooth MIDI (with a slight delay in DAWs like Logic). Be sure to test the key lights when you get it—some units may arrive with non-functional LEDs. When powering on, the red lights should scroll up and down. You can turn them off by holding the metronome button until it says “LED OFF.” There are a few drawbacks: the volume resets to default every time you power it on, which is a minor annoyance. And while the sound quality is decent, it lacks the richness of a grand piano—the speakers are smaller and rear-facing, which gives it a slightly thin sound. Also, while it connects easily via Bluetooth MIDI to apps like Skoove, Simply Piano, and Flowkey, I haven’t been able to get any of these apps to trigger the light-up keys during lessons. This could be a settings issue, but so far, I haven’t found a way to enable that functionality. Despite those limitations, this keyboard has proven to be the most practical and well-rounded choice for my needs.

The media could not be loaded. I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!! I was looking for a rechargeable & portable keyboard to bring outdoors for YEARS!! I finally found this folding keyboard here. I compared this one with several other brands folding keyboards on Amazon, and this is the best of them. It is SO LIGHT!!! It also comes with a bag so very portable. It has a music stand so I can put my iPad music sheets on it. Also, I mainly use this keyboard to connect with my laptop as a MIDI keyboard and it works so good (you need to use a USB extension port)! And the prices is affordable! The customer service is 10/10!!! They helped me with my questions within 24 hours! I just love everything about this keyboard and I so ready to bring it out to a park and have fun with friends!

I haven't played in years and I saw this on YT so I decided to purchase it. The piano is great for beginners as it is pretty cheap, portable, and offers full set of keys. There are some strange nuances; 1. Sometimes the keys seem to "lag" and the sound is soft or sometimes loud, it is hard to describe but not normal; like there is no good consistency in how the unit detects keys being pressed. 2. The keys feel a bit strange, they are cheap but does have some weight to them. There is a strange grippy surface that takes getting used to. 3. While this is portable, it does not come with a stand, so be prepared to buy one. 4. The sheet music holder seems flimsy, and while it can probably hold sheet music OK, heavier piano books may be problematic. It would have been great if the supports weren't just 2 small plastic pegs, but maybe metal. 5. You can change the sound / tone but it is a very manual and weird thing to do...You have to hold the "tone" button down and then scroll the wheel.

I have an acoustic piano at home and love it! But I found I’m traveling a lot, sometimes weeks at a time and it’s hard to find a hotel/airbnb with a piano. I didn’t want to lose out on all that practice time. So I found this piano, which I call our travel piano. Of course it’s not the quality of a high end keyboard or an acoustic piano, but it is perfect for my needs. It’s folds up small, I can practice the songs I’m learning from anywhere! I am just returning from my first 2 week trip, and I’ve gotten to practice piano everyday! The quality seems good for my needs. If I had to complain of something, it’s that when it folds up, the keys are all on the outside, which seems vulnerable to getting broken. The travel case is useful, but perhaps a hard case would solve this problem.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered this after waiting a year for a better version of a different kind I'd seen previously. This electric piano is so cool! It has keys that have almost the same feel as real keys, with the same pressure. The sound is excellent with the keys able to perform the soft and loud sounds of a real piano. The damper pedal works great, and the charging cable is the same type I use with my Android phone! My piano also came with a beautiful cover to keep dust off if I don't feel like folding it up right away. If you wanna buy it to travel with it, like I did, it's small enough to substitute as your carry-on luggage if you're flying. Everything that was listed coming with it came with it: damper pedal, headphones, music sheet stand, carry bag, and even a music clip and dust cover. All in all, I'm super pleased with my new electric piano! I can't wait to play it!
