    • A touching story of one simple man's struggle to become one with God.
A very touching and heartfelt story. The author made it very easy for the reader to re!ate and apply to their own life. This book was an eye opener for me and I definitely it recommend it to others.

    • An inspiring story
I applaud the author of this book in his willingness to share details of his life and journey that some might find a bit too revealing. I don’t necessarily doubt that the experiences Steve shares in the book actually happened; it’s just my personal nature to rationalize events from my own mortal perspective. That being said, I did enjoy reading the book, particularly when Steve shares memories of his mother (who I knew personally). As you read his testament, you can’t help but feel the passion Steve has in devoting his life to the Lord, and his desire to encourage the reader to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. I found that I occasionally got distracted from his story by the abundance of biblical quotes meant to give credence to various incidences Steve shared. These are probably very appropriate given the nature of the topic and distracting to me only because I typically read too many Tom Clancy novels. ... show more

    • This was a Journey for me from hopelessness to Hope
I want to say that I don't normally write reviews, I felt compelled to write this one not only based on the writers experiences, but how it mirrored my own. Taking life by the reins myself early in my career, I was living Large, big money, status, Job, Life , place in my community, Then like the author, It all came crashing down, one thing led to another and I found myself truly turning back to the God I had placed in a BOX. Long and short of it is there is much wisdom and experience here, . I highly recommend this reading for anyone who thinks they're alone in their circumstances that may be keeping them from realizing the bigger picture, That in Faith, God loves us and Desires us to be in union with him. He desires us so much that he will never leave us nor forsake us, this writing, Steve's Book" reminded me of that. This book, "Finding My Way Back Home" will become a gift ofter by me to others. I want to thank the Author for being obedient in his Humility, and writing what had to be a Blow to his Ego",when he found his way Home.
