The seller did what was needed to correct the error of sending me a used/returned machine that was missing one of the plates needed for embossing. They were very helpful and had excellent communication. Now I’m able to emboss with all the correct parts in hand. Thank you for making a bad situation turn a useless machine into a very good experience for both die cutting and embossing for.very small projects. ORIGINAL REVIEW: *Fine for die cutting. DOES NOT WORK AT ALL FOR EMBOSSING. (And I am very experienced with various embossing devises) I’m keeping it for small die cut projects as it is conveniently small but would NOT recommend for mini embossing. Fortunately for me I have another machine I have to get out for embossing or I would have sent it back.

Do not buy. I had to return and have a replacement sent, only for the replacement to stop working just the like 1st one. I'm a week late in returning because the return window is closed. It worked well until it didn't. There's something going on with the internal mechanics. It's like after a certain amount of turns, it stops. Update 3/26/25. I was contacted by the seller and they had excellent customer service in helping me to resolve my issues. I'm changing my review from 1 to 5 star because of them sending me a replacement.

I am very happy with this product. Cuts does and embosses well. My only issue is finding 3 inch compatible embossing folders.

I was SO excited to get to finally get a mini die-cut embossing machine, especially since it was on sale for a good price that I could afford, for the Christmas season since that’s usually the only time I can actually find them for some reason… and to find this kit that “included” Christmas themed items I had to get it. But, what a complete disappointment. This is the most stubborn, difficult thing to try to force to work. Upon opening the box there wasn’t a single thing inside that was listed on the box besides the actual mini embosser and the plates. I tried to emboss a small piece of scrap paper and I couldn’t even get it to go through. For several minutes I tried to force the plates through and it just wasn’t working (yes I tried making the space bigger for the plates to go through and still nothing) So I was beyond disappointed and frustrated. This has to be a faulty product for it not to work and also not have any of the Christmas items. I’ll be returning this. It makes me sad because the machine itself is so small and compact and really cute, but there’s no point of keeping something that doesn’t work just because it’s cute.

This little die cutting machine came with a very good price. It’s more heavy duty than I expected it to be and is simple to use. My only problem was that it didn’t come with instructions other than a few on the packaging. I was able to figure out how to use the die cuts in a short time but even with a friend trying it took us about 1/2 hour to learn the trick to the embossing. Overall I would recommend this machine.

I was initially disappointed in this machine. The die cut the image okay but the handle is hard to turn. One of the least expensive among the mini die cut machines for good reason. With more use, it appears to function better. It is nice to have around for small jobs. It cuts well with paper or thin cardstock but does not do well with heavier cardstock like that from Stampin' Up!
