I was worried that these wouldnt be real silicone. (Had an issue with that with another product). These were so easy to work with! I use them to make Wax Melt Snap Bars and when the wax is hard, they pop right out. Easy Peazy!!

Amazon has been harassing me to leave a review before the product was even delivered to my home so that's great. I haven't had a chance to use this yet, but it seems like it will work for what I need. However there is a horrible chemical smell that comes off of the mold when you first open it, and the smell lingers even after washing it. I'm not sure if it would be wise to use this for anything edible, but for things like making wax melts, it seems like it will work fine. ... show more

I am just learning to temper chocolate. This was my first attempt. I started with a chocolate bar because I thought it would be easier and chose this mold because reviews of other polycarbonate molds said they were too thin. Well my tempering turned out perfectly but these molds are so thick, they would probably work better if you want to put a filling in your chocolate bar. Just the nuts on top ended up being a lot of chocolate to nut ratio. Anyhow, the chocolate came out great. Becasue it’s so thick, when it comes directly out of the fridge you can’t easily break the chocolate. But if it sits out on the counter for a little while you can break it just fine. I definitely recommend the mold. I will try with a filling next time. ... show more
