It reminds me of coffee, but a different taste. I think it’s delicious. It’s warm and healthy and doesn’t have any of the side effects of coffee. So nice to have a good tasting coffee alternative that’s good for you.

I think you would really have to like figs to enjoy this drink as much as I do. To me it tastes like liquid burnt fig newtons. It's rich, dark, and thick like coffee. Stains my teeth like coffee too. I have learned to put a bit of coconut oil on my teeth while I am brewing to create a coating and my teeth don't stain. I am using a french press.

At first, I was disappointed by the small size of the can. But I learned you don’t need much to make a powerful cup of brew. Personally, I like the flavor. Two of my sons tried it one liked it, the other not so much. Makes a good coffee substitute When you want an extra warm beverage in the afternoon. I think it’s worth the price tag.

I opened up one of these k cups to see how much was inside and it was less than a quarter of the cup actually full. This is not worth the money. It’s kind of a scam because you’re paying for a full cup or what is normally a three-quarter full cup by other companies and this has barely anything. That’s why it tastes like bean water. I’d you like water that is flavored with barely coffee, then you can get this. It definitely has a coffee type of flavor, but it is not good. It’s not enough. And when I added a tiny bit of creamer, it ended up just tasting like cream. So you’d have to drink it black to get any flavor anyway. I would not recommend- waste of money.

I was super excited about the product and it’s reviews. I’ve been looking for a good coffee replacement for a while and have tried numerous opponents. This sounded like a real winner. And it is, if you want figs. I opened the canister and it smelled strongly of figs. Brewed it, and the lovely aroma of figs filled the kitchen. Hoped beyond hope it tasted like coffee: nope, figs. Now I love figs. They’re a treat for me. Fresh. Not hot brewed and supposedly a replacement for coffee. If anything this would be like fig tea, I have no idea how it’s like coffee. The good thing about it is if you want fig crumbs then this is for you. Maybe add fig flavor to your tea? Or actual coffee? Im thinking maybe if I put some of this on cheesecake or something that I’ll have a fig cheesecake, which would be wonderful. The product tastes great, for figs. The quality seems very good. And the cost seems to be ok considering what fresh figs cost in the market. But as coffee? NO.

I enjoy Figgy coffee as it has a little bitter after taste kind of like coffee. I like to french press it with roasted and ground Cocoa Nibs to give it rich warming flavor and smoothness. Figgy brew alone has a bit of a strong fig taste for me. I also add cashew cream that is sweetened with dates and that makes for a delicious drink without getting jittery the way coffee can make you. I also love that this has numerous health benefits being rich in magnesium, potassium and calcium! It may seem like a small container when you get it, but you only use a scant teaspoon per cup so it lasts a long time. Fig coffee is cleaner to drink, compared to traditional coffee which is rich in the use of large amounts of pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and chemical fertilizers.
